Food that is easy to incorporate into your diet

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Our brain health is something important we need to look after. I had never thought that some of the nutrients mentioned as being important before. I eat a low-calorie diet and mainly Keto but I incorporate the book's ideas now. The author recommends nuts, green leafy vegetables, and other food. A lot of the ingredients I’m already using when cooking.

Informative and inspiring

It was very informative and inspiring to listen to this audiobook full of cognitive food habits. It has certainly sparked my curiosity and imagination when it comes to dieting. Has some great recipes

This audiobook is a very useful guide in learning what foods to eat for brain health! Having a loved one with dementia has really made me interested in learning to eat to properly nourish my brain. This book is an easy listen and is easy to understand. It also has some great recipes! I highly recommend it!

Stay mentally sharp

John R. Torrance has written a truly illuminating book on the benefits of considering diet as a key component of brain health. Instead of taking a fatalist approach that some are predisposed to neurodegenerative diseases with no way to combat it, this book goes step-by-step on how to give yourself the best chance of living a healthy life while keeping mentally sharp.

A very practical audiobook

This is an easy-to-listen-to and very practical audiobook about the connection between the foods we eat and the development of our brain. It is full of many suggestions about healthy food purchases and meal planning ideas. It has a great selection of healthy recipes, with detailed prep instructions. I highly recommend this book!

Improve your cognitive functioning

I never realized how much food can affect your brain. The author has definitely done his research on this one and very clever to combine the two together. The author is positive and provides easy actions you can take to improve your health. This book provides the science behind why you should eat berries or have more antioxidants in your body and how those habits will improve your cognitive functioning.
