A Compassionate guide

I can't say enough about how much I appreciate listening and relistening to this recording. Jack Kornfield uses humor, insight, and great compassion to put words to whatever disaster has occurred in your life. He then gently guides the listener through a series of mediations that help to inspire, strengthen and provide perspective. He says that it isn't a self help book, but help it does. The author provides a new way of viewing the world and teaches a set of coping skills that really make a difference. The narration is centered, evenly paced and calming. The content is humane and kind. Highly recommended listening.

Great collection of guided meditations and talks!
This collection of talks and guided meditations by Kornfield is a tool one can use over and over. However, you must use Audible's bookmark tool to mark beginning of each meditation if you wish to access them on demand, as the audio is not pre-split in this way.

A true blessing
I've been through these meditations now two times with a meditation group. About 3 years apart, and they have been very well received by all the meditators. a wonderful book for difficult times or making the best of good times
