Self-compassion can change the game
Self-compassion, forgiveness, and ultimately, happiness can seem so unbearingly hard to possess when there is layer upon layer of resistance, sadness, betrayal, and pain in our minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits.

A vital toolkit for embracing happiness
I have struggled to embrace self-love for years, and I am so happy that this book found its way into my life. This book is a vital tool in my wellness toolbox. I learned to think of self-love and self-compassion on a whole new level. I learned the true meaning of treating myself as I feel I should treat others in every situation. I learned that I need to be my own best friend and speak to myself with words of consolation and affirmation. This book helps to fight previous misconceptions in order to feel worthy and deserving of happiness. It also points out that we should not let the perceived success of others define our lives.
