A Practical Guide to Healthy Living!
Health is Wealth! This audiobook shows a practical representation of how to take charge of one’s health by paying attention to changes in our system and the importance of monitoring our blood pressure.
The narration is very clear. One good thing about this audiobook is you really do not have to be a professional to understand the process of checking your blood pressure by yourself with the right equipment. Taking record of the changes in our blood pressure by keeping a journal is extremely important as this helps to know when there is an abnormal change in our system. Also the right medications to take and habits to stop were mentioned. Exercises, relaxation and the right diet also play huge roles in maintaining our health.
An highly recommendable audiobook that can also be used as a gift to our loved ones as there is nothing more beautiful as introducing someone to the steps to take in living a healthy life.

TAKING CONTROL OF HBP WITH UNDERSTANDING!
Author Dr. Ashley Sullivan PharmD, lays out an easy-to-understand, straightforward approach to the ins and outs of managing HBP. Besides demystifying medical jargon and presenting everything in a very accessible way, one of the things I enjoyed most about this important book was discovering the proper questions to ask your doctor about HBP.
Too often, the layperson isn't able to ascertain the right questions to ask.
Also helpful are the assorted tips for improving sleep. Good sleep is one of the best doctors of all. The classical triumvirate of diet, exercise, and rest are all approached in practical, easy-to-implement ways. Holistic perspectives are addressed as well, with the entire body of advice within this book covering the full spectrum of managing HBP.
If you or someone you love are dealing with high blood pressure, “Understanding High Blood Pressure” is an absolutely essential book to have in your audible library. Highly recommended.

Chock full of excellent information!
There is a ton of info here in "Understanding High Blood Pressure" by Ashley Sullivan. Everything you need to know (unless you are studying to be a doctor, maybe!) is here in this book. I learned a bunch of incredible tools to understand my blood pressure. I have higher-than-normal BP and was looking to learn what I can do naturally to keep my BP in check. In this book, I learned that and much more. I'm hoping not to have to take medication, but it was helpful to learn what medications are out there. This book is excellently written and narrated. Highly recommend!

Very informative
My dad has hypertension, and part of his heart is enlarged. He has worked under stressful conditions for years, and when his doctor prescribed meds, it lowered his blood pressure too much.
Because of that, it lets me know that I can trust the information in this audiobook since it is something that I know is possible. Until listening to this, I wasn't aware that there were different types of hypertension or that there were so many different types of medication for high blood pressure.
The sad part is that my dad refuses to listen, so I KNOW he is not going to want to change his diet. And since he works in construction, he feels like that is enough exercise. But he has been taking his vacations, so I guess that is a plus. Either way, I recommend this book to anyone who has high blood pressure or knows someone with high blood pressure. It can kill people and continues to kill those who do not take care of themselves on a regular basis. This audiobook contains information that could save your life or the life of someone you know and love.

Great resource to understand high blood pressure! My family struggles with this but I never have and haven't wanted to do so. I listened with bated breath to implementation of suggestions and such so this does not become my future. The suggestions were good and understandable.
