Know people is to love people

I liked the way of describing personality types and accuracy of this. I laughed and remembered all interactions with people I know behaved exactly like described, according to their type. I wish in pair with MBTI letter typology would come a name , like Entertainer, Mediator, so it would be easier to perceive information by hearing.

Somewhat relatable but mostly just stereotypes.

The overall presentation and storytellingwas good. Some of the traits depicted have been relatable to the various types I've had listen to this. Overall, it is decent. There are a bit too many cliche stereotypes however and some of them make the author seem like they don't know anything about them so they filled it in with stuff from 16 personalities website. So far, this is entertaining, however lacking in accuracy.

It can be helpful at times, but...

Not a long book/listen. A lot of information packed pretty densely in a type-after-type format. Kinda reminds me of one of those "16 types as [noun]" videos on youtube.

For that reason, there's a fair amount of stereotyping involved. Some of it appears to come from a legitimate place of aiming to help the reader/listener understand their friends/family/self. Others are just stereotype-based jokes. It's a book with good information and memes that, because we have to cover 16 types, run for too long.

If you want to listen to a book about the 16 types in observation, this can be a good starting point as it's largely based on observable behaviors from the types. Unfortunately, behavior is only the result of your cognition, not a display of the cognition, so it's not 100%.

Awesome & Insightful

This book was great. An amazing intro to the different personalities we all have and how we relate with one another. The author gives different scenarios and examples for each type which really helps to understand the practical side to vague concept like “intuitive thinking”.

PS: I saw some reviews saying this book is too surface level & overly simplistic. I didn’t think that at all. I think the author gives great examples that perfectly explain each type. It’s def meant to be an intro though and not an encyclopedia into someone’s entire life.

entertaining

very entertaining as long as you take it for the pop culture literature meme its ment to be and was able to laugh at myself for all the personality tests I took online when bored at work.

Funny Stuff

You really can’t take this book seriously. Myers Briggs is taken seriously. Which would you choose to believe?

Fun, quick listen--as long as you know MBTI

This audiobook was a blast to listen to on short walks. Lots of lists that discuss how various personality types respond to difference situations.

However, if you're not familiar with Myers-Briggs (MBTI), you probably will want to study up on it before listening. Otherwise you'll have a hard time following.
