About this listen

How to Help Your Spouse Heal from Your Affair: Recovering from Infidelity, Restoring Intimacy and Regaining Trust by Janet Bloom

Cheating doesn’t signify the end of your relationship. In fact, this could be the moment to strengthen your relationship—with the right knowledge!

Ninety-eight percent of men admit to having fantasies about someone other than their partner. Eighty percent of women do too! So where is the line? When does that fantasy become an affair? A flirtatious moment? A teasing selfie? A kiss? Sex?

What does your partner think about your actions and how much suffering have you caused in the process?

Infidelity is a far more complex psychological matter than just someone straying because they aren’t happy in their marriage or relationship.

True, there could be problems at home, but there could also be some deep personal issues that need to be resolved before expecting to see any changes in a relationship.

How many times have you heard yourself say, “I will change?" Do you know what needs changing?

Regardless of your gender, sexual orientation, level of commitment, or type of affair, you will need help if you want to help your partner and yourself.

We are all human, and we all have the potential to make a mistake as devastating as being unfaithful. We are all tempted, and though we don’t all act on it, those who do have the power to make it right.

It’s not going to be easy, nor should it be. Trust is like a piece of paper, almost impossible to straighten once it’s been crumpled.

But for anyone who is genuinely sorry and prepared to make the effort, nothing is impossible!

If you want to mend your past mistakes and help your loved one move forward together, then scroll up and buy now.

If you read it WITH your adulterous spouse it can

This audiobook has greatly bolstered my hope that my wife and I can work through this. She did so many of the "right" things from the get-go without even having knowledge of the book that I know we're on the right track.

If you listen to it WITH your spouse it can serve as the platform for you to discuss with your spouse what you are going through and/or allow you to point out or highlight things that you have been wondering or feeling but just didn't know how to say or express.

Straightforward.

This book is a distillation of the current best practices for treating infidelity. It gets so much right that it deserves 5 stars. If you are dealing with this situation in your marriage, get this book now at the beginning. It's not that long and it cuts straight to the point. The author does not let her faith get in the way of the information.

A good reference book!

This is a good book and both partners will benefit from reading it if you are in this spot like me (unfortunately). It's an appropriate length so as not to get too discouraged or overwhelmed with your circumstances. A good reference book to keep handy.

Great for healing mistrust.

This was a great audiobook with some simple but effective techniques. Janet Bloom is really good at telling both sides of the story and she uses many couples with varying situations to illustrate both how people accidentally and purposely betray us. If both partners are open, honest, and willing to do the work, this book can heal any relationship! It takes two so that if your partner won’t do the work, you can heal and find the right partner.

helpful guidance

An excellent book with lots of helpful guidance in dealing with such a senstitive topic. Ithink many couples out there should try this book and approach first before consulting a therapist as last resort. It will surely heal the relationship
