Love is just around the corner . . .

Sweet, shy Mara Hanover is in love with her neighbor. For four years, she has secretly watched her dream man from afar. Handsome police detective Mitch Lawson is way out of her league. She's a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and there's no way a guy like Mitch would want anything to do with her. But when Mara has a leaky faucet that she can't fix, it's Mitch who comes to her rescue.

Mitch has been eyeing his beautiful neighbor for a long time. He jumps at the chance to help her, and soon their formerly platonic relationship gets very hot and heavy. But when Mara gets a disturbing phone call from her cousin's kids, she gets pulled back into the life she's tried so hard to leave behind. Can the hot law man convince Mara to let go of her past--and build a future with him? (Dream Man Series, Book 3)

Kristen Ashley writes interesting stories.....

I enjoyed this series. My favorite is still Mystery Man...3 hot guys, all wanting 1 girl with much drama very well written. Love this narrator. I appreciated she took each story in a unique direction. Not completely different but enough difference it was interesting. This series was certainly worth the purchase because I have really enjoyed. I'll look for this author and narrator. My one complaint is this...I would thought Mitch was a calmer more laid back type. I didn't see him as this intense but maybe I should have. This book came with children, and mystery, drugs, and a protagonist that is not confident. The common denominator seems to be the protagonist(I really don't like that word) the women are loving, caring, nurturing women, the men are all alpha. This author also has a good sense of humor. Love that.

My favorite of the series

Very special novel. This is the best of this great series. Mitch is kind and patient and helps Mara overcome her insecurities. Fun narration of the kids.

Great hero!!

Love the relationship of Mara with Billy and Billie. I’ve loved Mitch since he was introduced so it’s great that he has his own happily ever after!

I'm in Love with the Dream Man Series!

I'm so excited that this series is on audible. This title is the 3rd book in the series and focuses on detective Mitch Lawson. If you haven't read the previous titles, it's okay, but of course it flows better if you have.

As always Kristen Ashley has given us a well rounded hero and heroine with a juicy plot, sub-characters and hilarious dialogue! I found myself LOL most of the time. I don't want to give away the story, but there's a whole lot of action, and romance that lead to the HEA..and what fun it was! Is this worth a credit? Definitely!

Mitch Lawson is every woman's dream.

What did you love best about Law Man?

Mitch, Mitch, and Mitch. I think I like him better than Hawk in Mystery Man. How can you not love a man that steps up to the plate like Mitch.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this entire series, Elvira is still one of my favorite characters. She is just entertaining. I also love Billie. She seems adorable.

Which character – as performed by Kate Russell – was your favorite?

She has become one of my favorite narrators. She is truly amen actress and after experiencing a couple of "just ok" narrators, she is dynamic.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I have listened multiple times already.

Repeat

While I loved the story, I felt the author repeated herself often...sometimes within the same sentence. Also, I got really tired of Mara constantly dissing herself. I get that she had a poor self image but geez it got old. I loved the ending though and was so glad to know the future :)

I Love Everything Kristen Ashley but.....

I will be returning the "Dream Man" series and getting my credits/money back. I unfortunately cannot get past the narrator.

Great Book, Excellent Narrator

This was a great audiobook with a great story. However, the narrator was EXCELLENT. I especially love her children's voices. They were the best. She made this book even better then it already was.

Too long for me

I love Kristen Ashley's books, but this audible was just too long for me. This is a book I would better enjoy in print. The story is very good but slow to start. Great finish though! The performance is pretty good. Very good as to the style and emotion conveyed, but the lack of variation in voices of the characters between male and female just didn't do it for me.
