Only 6 hours a book?

A great book, excellent writing and story line . There is the perfect amount of details, the author is doing a great job. A series thats this good, has to have longer books that go somewhere. The cliffhanger is plaid out for two books the story really didn't progress much. THEY NEED TO BE LONGER 4 STARS

A Journey of doing what's right

Great stories line. So far so good! Looking to see how this ends ! Will there be any romance and will that cannibal Duke get his actions judged? So many characters!!

Another Splendid Performance

As ever, the waiting was worth it. This series is just so refreshingly classic. It is almost as if the author somehow gets out of the way and let's his characters tell his story for him. It's magical.

Great story line!

The characters are well-designed and the story is exciting and timed appropriately. I'm glad that the main character, Lark, is caring and humble; a person of integrity and restraint.

Creative insults and other interjections would be preferred over profanity, though swearing doesn't happen often. The rest of the story is amazing and would be just as riveting without the base language.

Can't wait for the next pack!

The story and the narrator are outstanding

What an incredible story. If you don’t want to sleep, then definitely listen to this at night because you won’t be able to put it down. The story is so clever and the narrator is nothing short of incredible. Not only are his skills first rate and his voice resonant,
but his ability to truly embody each character separately pulls you magically into the world that Sisa has built. It’s truly a pleasure to listen to!

1Star.Story still interesting. Writing still awful

This series is interesting overall but the writing is terrible and that's not even touching on how repetitive the language is. Its like it was written by mojo jojo...

This story telling is agonizingly poor and tedious to follow along with ...

The same issues with an EMPTY main character that has no personality beyond being the strongest and blah blah blah...

The writing itself is really bad:

This character needed to go over there. That location is 7 steps away, so this character decided to take those steps. Since there were 7 steps it reminded this character of another time they had to take 8 steps to get to a location. That 8 step journey was 1 step more than this journey and because they completed that journey, this character knew they could complete this journey. Any other character might have done this thing a different way than the main character, but since all other characters are not as smart or powerful as the main character, then the main character did it the better, no the BEST way available. *add in some random passers by quietly talking to themselves about how amazing and smart the main character is for for that 7 step journey*

I have to take so many breaks from this story to just not get mad at how bad this writing is ...

Dragons, demons, love and magic

I spent three months waiting for this book to be published. I’ve never been so happy spending an entire day listening to it. I’m excited to read the next one.
