How big and lively the world seemed.

A good story overall, I loved the world building and how many characters are in it. Tho it wasn't perfect by any stretch of the word the romance between Raven and Nanele felt forced and awkward most of the time, also we didn't get to see a lot of other people's perspectives, I know from experience it's hard doing that but with a story the author built it had to have a bit more variety in perspectives.

Another good entry

Not a super crunchy Litrpg but does find a nice balance. This book seemed to follow a different formula than the last 4, not bad just different. I hope they go back to the original though. Great narration, editing, and writing as usual.

it's the little things

I know these books are translated, and formthe most part she does a damn dine job....but it's the little things. for instance this the second book where it was mentioned that someone was eating well done steak. this time it was the two heads of the company that makes the game. can you imagine sitting in an upscale restaurant and ordering a well done steak? trying to get the chef to come out and throw hands with you? and just a couple days after his father had compleated treatments for his mild heart attack/heart disease, he cracking open a few beers. it's like the writer did next to no research at time. Just need dad out of the way for story to progress...um...some sorta heart problem? anyways. still enjoying the books, especially since they are free with audibles premium.

Great series but book 5 was a bit of a let down for me.

Maybe I am just being picky or was spoiled by the first 4 books of this series but this book seems kind of like a filler setting things up for the next book. Don't get me wrong I love this series and as someone who has been on Litrpg book kick for a while now I love the spin the author created and recommend this book to all Litrpg lovers and the Narrator is AMAZING! Created one of my fav characters just because of how he was able to bring the character to life. love it!

He competes in the tournament and he signs a treaty with the swarm and the Holy’s.

I like the intricacies of magic and characters he interacts with, his pets are really cool too.

Good enough

I like where this is going, but I miss his greedy streak. Bring that back please. I even like he didn’t get everything he wanted. He literally has to suffer for what he gets. It’s a struggle. Good book

On to the next book please

This series has several interesting concepts and runs pretty stat light. It has been translated from Russian to English, which is not the easiest thing to do due to the syntax and sentence structure differences. The author in this series has elected to just pick up in the next book where the last one left off. Instead of book 2, chapter 1, you get book 2, chapter 89, and so on. It is a LitRPG, but it is stat light, and the MC doesn’t agonize over reading his character sheet several times per chapter. He also has a vague idea about the direction he wants to take his character. He makes a number of landmark discoveries, and his lack of how to play an MMORPG is a strength instead of a hindrance. It is good work and a new look, so give it a credit or ten. I’ve read that he intends to have 1000 chapters in total, but that was what the writer of Once Piece said.
