Nice to tie up loose ends and answer a few questions.

This was less horror focused and was more about tying up any loose ends. While in the end some actions might not have mattered doesn't mean there aren't consequences. Also while expected it was a bittersweet ending. Still enjoyed it.

Great final act

I wasn’t sure if this was gonna be as good as the first book, but it was, and the last act really brought everything together.

Another one!

This was just as good as the first one. The twists and turns it took I was not expecting. Never mind the ugly crying a few times during the story or The outbursts! Worth the second dive into the farm…the pig is waiting!

Second book was NOT a disappointment

Oh my goodness, the narrator should read every book on this app. The story was fantastic and had me so invested. I highly recommend

So impactful

This story is very engaging and wraps everything up perfectly, lost a star because one part goes to far and I had to skip it.

Better than the prequel

This flowed much better than the first one, I really like the direction it tuned the last 1.5hr. Ending was sadder than I expected.

Ties up loose ends

Not as good or horror filled as the first and slightly predictable. But was good for a follow up to finish the story.

Fantastic story line

This was an amazing story. And the narration was absolutely fabulous. I loved the journey from the setting of the scenes to the imagination of the characters. I am a fan of both author and narrator from here on out. Thank you both.

Simply put, the best thing I’ve ever heard both story and performance are now the standard in which everything will be judged!!

Wow, I’ve been through dozens of “extreme” books but this series not only has some of the gnarliest, graphic, disturbing images I’ve ever heard but also was written with such depth of character, that I will never forget. Hits you in the feels in the deepest of ways. FANTASTIC!!!!!! Best of the best. From 1 to 10 I give it a TRILLION!!! Thank you for this!!!

That ending!?!

This is the second book I've read/listened to by Elias Witherow. I'm a hopeless romantic and that is my go to read/listen. I have been enjoying some different genres and decided to requested this audiobook because I listened to book one.

I forgot what I thought of book one. If you are a horror genre junkie, you may actually five star this story. It's well written with a storyline that I was invested in. I've RELEARNED that the horror part is not my thing. Remember, remember, remember... a note to self. The same warnings are needed as in book one with the addition that a CHILD was assaulted. I CRIED. I WAS HORRIFIED. If I had know...I'd have fast forward that part. once again there was total and complete grossness. I cringed so often. I hate that I needed to know the ending. And, for me, it was a heartbreaking ending. Gah.

Tom Jordan is an excellent narrator. I love his voice. He is easy to listen to for a longer period of time and he had this rolling like a movie 🤢 in my head. His performance was perfection.
