About this listen

Being Immortal Is Great.

Except when you're an outcast. Then it sucks. It really, really sucks. (Really).

Euryale, sister of Medusa, longs to be accepted, but no matter what she does, all she gets is more of the same: Heroes who want to kill her, strangers who want to manipulate her, and gods who want to torment her.

But there's only so much a gorgon can take. So when Euryale finally snaps and seeks vengeance, she discovers an ancient being who offers her a way to bring all of her enemies to their knees - if she's willing to pay a hefty price.

And for a girl who's shunned by all, what's one more curse to bear?

Rise of the Gorgon is the wild, adventurous sequel to The Gorgon Bride, but is also a perfect jumping-on point for new listeners.

Great series!

I loved the story even more then the first one. Plenty of humor and action with a little bit of mystery.

Alex is an idiot

I feel sorry for Alex as it feels like he was simultaneously sidelined as well as also being depicted as an idiot.
the performance on almost all of the characters is good but the tone and Cadence of Alex made him again sound like an idiot
.
that all aside Euryale is definitely one of my favorite characters both in performance and character writing followed by Aphrodite who has great character development

Captivating, Brilliant, Delicious!

I absolutely loved it! The story was exciting and totally sucked me in, and the characters are absolutely enthralling. I thought the narrator did a brilliant and soulful job bringing them to life...I adored their voices! Fell madly in love with them!

My new favorite audiobook series... can’t wait for the next one to come out!

loved it

this book was just like the last one good funny steeped in Greek and Roman mythology action-packed and there are even a couple lessons learned although I am curious about a couple of things I'll just have to wait for the next book to find my answers.

a deserved ending

I liked this one more than Bride. I was hoping to see justice brought to those conceded Olympians and I got a bit of that. Athena and Perseus were brought down and my opinion of Aphrodite definitely changed from the first book. I loved her arc. I felt bad for Aracnee though.

Overall an entertaining listen. Natasha did a great job. A lot more emotional than Bride too.
