I was a little annoyed with Ava, who lived too much in her own head, good Ava fighting against bad Ava all the time.
This Rock Chick is not as good as the previous ones, less suspense and heart break, just a damaged ego fighting for the love of her life since she was a child (too much for me, actually)
Still worth listening as Luke was such a macho man hot guy and kept the story somehow good...

What made the experience of listening to Rock Chick Revenge the most enjoyable?

Overall, the characters are AMAZING, even though I would love personally slap these Ava upside the head when she was resisting Luke, seriously.

I loved the fact that Luke finally got his Rock Chick, and it was someone from his past.

What does Susannah Jones bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Susannah Jones is truly amazing, she brings the characters to life.

Sherleen, Tex and Daisy are the funniest part of this book. LOVE them!!!

I loved not only the plot but the fact that all the rock chicks and the hot brigade was in it. def loved the story..sweet, hot and def a lot of action going on

I LOOOOOOOVE Luke, and Ava is cool.

So why the four stars, you wonder?

One, because her state of denial annoyed me, specially when she went on a date with Ren while staying with Luke and the scene during the concert (it might not be a big deal to her, but picture it the other way around! Imagine the H having dinner or "a moment" with OW while staying with h and I would've DNFed that book before you can say jerk).

And two, because the "Good Ava/Bad Ava" reminded me a lot of the "Internal Godess" of 50 shades, and that unnerve me as well, even worst because they had no purpose whatsoever: "real Ava" never actually listens to them.

Mmmmh... Now Im questioning my four stars...

Nah! The story (plot, action, twists, funny moments, steamy scenes) and LUKE still deserve that rate. I cant deny it, all in all, I still LOOOOOVE Luke.

On the narrator, Jones has made such an amazing job all through the series, that she's one of the reasons I keep using my credits on these books ;)

Fan-freakin-tastic as ever! Loved everything about it. Loved Ava and her dorkiness. Loved everything Luke. Loved their history and story. Loved the entire cast and their antics. LOTS to love.
Fun, suspenseful, intense, heart melting... captivating. And HOT.

Whilst I am really enjoying listening to this narrator, I'm finding I have definite favourites for her performances across the series. In this instance, I wasn't a huge fan of the voices used for 'good Ava' and 'bad Ava', but I did enjoy her performance otherwise.

Luke Stark! Who doesn't love Luke Stark!! I love how he shows his soft side to Ava throughout the story. She doesn't make it easy for him at times, having been screwed over by past boyfriends she's determined to protect her heart. BUT it's Luke Stark - enough said.
