Biz owners - Read this once a year
I’ve built 4 companies so far with one exit. If I had this road map from the beginning… it’s a little painful to think about how much further along I would be.
save yourself that pain. Finish this book before the end of the week.
Then revisit the relevant section to your business once a quarter.
I’ll be referencing this book once a quarter at a minimum. I don’t need anything else.

Little value
There is little to gain from this book. Maybe because I’ve founded a few companies, but the concepts could be written in one short blog post. And even then it wouldn’t be very good. Disappointing because I was really excited to read this. I was expecting it to be more like “how brands grow”, but with a software angle.
Let me summarize it for you: add customers, activate customers, retain customers, expand customers. Then through an unclear, conversational approach - they tell you random stories that are barely related to the topic.
