Publisher's summary

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a book summary of Food: What the Heck Should I eat? by Mark Hyman and not the original book.

Would you like to look and feel great everyday?

Would you like to possess the knowledge to feed yourself optimally to ensure a longer life?

This book sorts through the conflicting research out there on food to teach you how to eat optimally for your ideal weight and lifelong health.

It takes the average person 63 minutes to read 9,000 words. For the price of a coffee and a time investment of roughly five percent of your day, I believe the wisdom in this book to be well worth its value. This book allows you to skip to the nuggets of wisdom and actionable content in a very easily absorbed, accessible way, including key takeaways at the end of each chapter. This book summarizes the original in detail to help people effectively understand, articulate, and imbibe the original work by Hyman. This book is not meant to replace the original book, but to serve as a companion to it.

Excellent source of nutritional information

I love the book, as a graduate student in public health education I found the book to be a important source of up-to-date dietary guidelines. Thank you so much for breaking down the very important information found in your book. if everyone would just read this book there would be a lot less obesity in the world. Best regards

I am so happy to recommend this book.

I am so happy to recommend this book. With so many diets, as consumers, it's almost impossible to figure out the right way to go. So the Mark's analysis and his ability to take the mystery away from food, was refreshing!

Avoidance of unnatural ingredients

Appreciate that this book addressed the dramatizing against cholesterol and high fat foods that our society has been 'fed' over the last several decades.
Would have liked to have heard more encouragement for us to eat fish more frequently as alternatives to red meat and chicken/turkey.
Nice summary of what to actually eat, and avoid as our understanding of our dietary needs and risks evolve.

Informative and research based

I really enjoyed listening to this book on audible. there were some very practical things that I feel like I could apply to my everyday life. I'm a research person and I love how you used a lot of research-based information to support the information being given. a person who has kind of not had a main focus on what to eat this really helped me cut out a lot of unnecessary things from my diet.

I did this as an audible but it's probably better

I did this as an audible but it's probably better to do this as a physical book.

This book contains enough information.

This book contains enough information to lead away from that harmful diet that most of us have had since for ever and enough information to take you to those healthy options that we kinda know about but need to be reminded of.
