A few key insights from chapter one:

1. The type of fasting Dave Asprey discusses is applicable to any person regardless of biology, psychology, or spirituality.

2. Fasting simply means to go without a certain thing, be it food, substances, working, sex, or other people.

3. Fasting involves turning away from what you think you cannot routinely live without. It does not mean to cut it off completely, though.

4. When you go without something, you truly gauge your dependence on it.

Good but more.

This was great but almost a little too abbreviated. One or two sentences extra after each point would have been really helpful. But it pointed me in the right direction, which is Asprey's book for more information. Thank you!!
