An Invaluable Resource

I wish I had this when I was younger. As my daughter is approaching her teen years, I will be ready to tackle some of these things with her and hopefully help give her a bit of confidence along the way. It's a hard road to be a teenager, and the author lays out some very useful and helpful tips. I appreciate that the author touches on connections, self-compassion, and doubt in young people. This book is going to be valuable for many young girls.

Should be recognized

You have got alot of nerve

I didn't know how much goes through a women's head until I read this book. I also agree with it because my daughter is an open book especially when something is bother her. With my boys, I tell them to "rub dirt on it" and keep moving. I have to validate her emotions, show my emotions to affirm her and a solution, all in 20 minutes or less. Anxiety is a real thing and parent need to help fix it. Perhaps a book or two on the subject. Here's one.

Great for my sister

Over the past two years, my mother and I have witnessed my teenage sister's struggles with anxiety, social media, and the need to impress her friends. While my sister excels academically and faces no issues at school, she constantly worries about meeting the expectations set by her friends, whether it's related to eating habits, Starbucks beverages, boba drinks, food choices, clothing, or shoes. Excellent research based guide for teen girls!

The audiobook Teen Girls Anxiety Guide is a must-read for girls struggling with anxiety concerns as pre-teens and teenagers. The guide is comprehensive in its research into the topic. It provides both an overview of the early stages of anxiety, describing both moderate and severe symptoms. The audiobook reviews areas of concern for teen girls including academic pressures, the effects of social media, and peer pressure. Not only are the problem areas identified but the guide addresses topics such as how to deal with social stress, how to stay motivated, how to overcome negative thoughts that contribute to anxiety and practicing self-compassion when anxiety arises. Understanding Girls

R. Robinson has written a great book and Suzie Bee does a great job narrating it for Audible.

As a father of 3 teenage boys that are just starting to try to understand girls my wife and I discussed trying to get them some education into teenage girls and their mindset in today's world. Thanks to R. Robinson and this book we can now help them. We listened to the book as a family and made the boys take notes. The narration was excellent because it required little to no pausing or rewinding while they took their notes on a lot of subjects.

The book delves into the psyche of teenage girls and how they deal with social media, peer pressure etc. It is an extremely helpful guide and our boys now understand the mind of a teenage girl a little more than they did before listening. In particular how to avoid adding to their anxiety.

This is a great book we highly recommend
