About this listen

Hunted at every turn while the Chaos Storm Guild Leader's plans near fruition, Startum Ironwolf and his friends must fight their way through the vanguard of the northern hordes and mass of PKers to reach their friend. On their way, they meet up with new friends and old enemies as the noose slowly closes around them.

Worth Your Credit! Amazing series that develops & grows.

Can't wait for the next. I love the different elements & different combinations of story elements. There is so much cool stuff and ideas of things that I wished mmorpgs had that have be incorporated and integrated. It's all interesting and gives the story so much depth. That's not even getting into the characters and the different personalities.

My 2 minor gripes as a gamer:
1) I wish you wouldn't call MMORPGS morgs. Each word in the acronym is pronounced like the letters in the alphabet. If it's being shortened into morgs for the sake of brevity, then please use gamer speak and just say mmo the rpg isn't needed after the initial saying and is also implied.

2)Also, PK-ers(pronounced P K ers just like letters in the alphabet with the "ers" part on the end) aka player killers. They aren't called pickers...

It'd be amazing (if possible.... hopefully it is) if retroactively wherever those words were said that it could be cut out & spliced in the correct gamer vernacular. That'd be amazing.

I'll happily buy more books from this series as they are available/ or even pre-order.

I love an author with not just drive, but the organization to be counted upon by his/her reader base. Even if health challenges an outdated method of attack and completion goals; I have faith that with your work ethic (and with your family's "overwatch!"), you'll find a groove of joy, fortification and success ;-))

I truly enjoy a meaty book with invested character and world development. It seems the trend to (and reader reviews for many genres and writing styles are unfortunately pushing more authors to adapt/not apply themselves), in not weaving in settings and the senses. Even the small discussions that make characters "real" and the quirks each have (which you apply without wearing out the horse with copy & paste style), by not needing to only be about the bottom line plot that rushes everything into a skeletal work of lost society; and the true fulfilment of worlds and ideas (not to mention entertaining, engaging, rewarding, enriching and a memorable book for readers!!!).

I bought the series this week because I saw later on that the page count would raise. I liked the flow, and that the game mechanics were not only spot-on and adaptively complex to be interesting; but not an override to the story. In book six, I liked the shorter chapter layout (though I'm not against short chapters and find it's being overused by many), and the lower instance of character sheet interludes. It may have needed one or two more, actually, for those who haven't listened to the whole series straight through. The preface of game days, etc. is a nice touch. You may consider cutting repeats with really short chapters together and with the same people or local. I'd encourage time stamping. Since a book doesn't straddle multitudes of day; perhaps occasional day reminders, with the focus on time and what group, local and/or POV. Super editing bytheway! Hardly anything amiss in the continuity while I listened through your Audible format!

Thank you!

With Regard,
Halli

The author is doing a great job. I believe the author is doing a great job of showing how people show how it is in a rpg role game

This story has unlimited potential. The author has established a completely unique LitRPG story and its very well written. The narrator is pretty good too. Thus far, each book is healthy in length which gives good lasting listening time - at least for me. For this particular book, it's just less than 3 weeks into the opening off the in-game experience. The virtual game, AI perspective is pretty cool.. The author uses his personal experience from RPG games and other various life experience and has found a way to mix them together. Further this author is an "Indy or Independent" author and has shared that other authors have been rather unfriendly to knew authors in the genre. While I accept this, I dont really understand why other established authors would feel threatened but new authors. I would think that would only drive creative conception to write better or more entertaining stories all the way around. Regardless, I have so far come to really enjoy this particular story, the author hasn't disappointed yet, and with 6 books in, I find it hard to see I'll be disappointed in the future.

Well done
