About this listen
How to transform your mindset and find meaning in just 40 days, without massively changing your daily routine....
Do you feel like you are living the same day over and over? Are you going through life on autopilot? You're not alone.
Millions of people live their lives passively, reacting to experiences and events as if they have no control over what happens to them. They are unaware of the importance of their mentality on their happiness, life satisfaction, and stress levels. Days and weeks seem to blend together into a stressful pattern of chores, errands, work, and sleep. Stress becomes the new normal.
In fact, the World Health Organization has declared stress a "worldwide epidemic" that has grown wildly out of control. But it is possible to change the outcome.
While there will always be some things that are out of your control, you are never powerless.
Despite the hustle and bustle of modern life, you have the ability to choose how you experience things - will you stop and smell the roses? Or will you miss out as you hurry to check off another task?
You have been led to believe it simply isn't possible to catch your breath and enjoy life without falling behind, but this is untrue.
The truth is you can start shifting your mindset, and your life, by taking the smallest of steps and choosing to slow down. You can unlock the inner peace that has always felt impossible to achieve.
In The 40-Day Mindful Pause, here is just a fraction of what you will discover:
- The surprising opportunities for mindfulness which already exist in your daily routine, including your commute, meals, and more....
- Simple tips and tricks for integrating mental exercises to boost physical and mental function effortlessly
- Step-by-step daily exercises to promote focus, stress relief, and inner calm in less than 10 minutes a day
- Why being present in the moment is so crucial to getting the fullest enjoyment out of life
- How you can train your brain to enjoy the moment and avoid getting caught up in worries about the future and things outside of your control
- The surprising benefits practicing gratitude has on your health, emotional resilience, and relationships
- How to practice active listening and create a solid foundation for being a compassionate, aware individual
- Why perfectionism and people pleasing are eating away at your sense of self-worth, and how you can start talking back to the voice in your head
And much more.
You can start to change your life with just five, 10, or 15 minutes a day - less than the time it takes to watch an episode on Netflix.
By choosing to find the time to focus on your well-being, you are making a decision which not only benefits you but also helps those you love. When you thrive, they thrive.
Opportunities to practice mindfulness are opportunities to melt away stress and quiet the demands of everyday life. Make the best choice for you, and start taking advantage of those moments today.
If you want to enjoy life to the fullest and say goodbye to perpetual stress starting right now, then scroll up and click the “buy now" button.

It is estimated that 45 million Americans go on a diet every year, yet most of those who manage to lose weight regain it in a matter of years. The diet industry thrives on our desire to lose weight, but ultimately, it does more to trim our finances than it does to trim our waistlines. The truth is that the more we diet, the more out of touch we become with our bodies.

Story
Shetty grew up in a family where you could become one of three things—a doctor, a lawyer, or a failure. His family was convinced he had chosen option three: Instead of attending his college graduation ceremony, he headed to India to become a monk, to meditate every day for four to eight hours, and devote his life to helping others. After three years, one of his teachers told him that he would have more impact on the world if he left the monk’s path to share his experience and wisdom with others.

Story
Overthinking manifests itself as an overwhelming fear that, although unrealistic, ends up taking control of your thoughts and completely blocking your actions. Excessive thinking generates excessive thinking. It is a process that feeds itself and leads inevitably to exhaustion, both emotional and physical because your mind never stops running and consuming energy. If you are genuinely motivated by the desire to reverse this vicious circle, but perhaps you never had the right approach to solving the problem, this audiobook may be what you are missing to accomplish the mission.

very helpful
I didn't really realize how much effort I put into controlling everything, but when the chapter about letting go of control came up I had to pause and sit for a while. So much of my energy was going into controlling every little aspect of my life and that part was a major breakthrough for me. Stress can really take it out of you! Thank you!

Be Mindful ; Breath In ; Let It Go 🧘♂️
This is Not a meditation book. Here the author Simone Clark speaks with us, through the excellent narration of Chaleeya Yeh, in a light hearted way and imparts exceedingly vital information on different ways we can slow down, de-stress, have peace of mind and more purpose in our lives. The author has structured the book intelligently. It has 40 chapters (approximately 4 to 5 minutes long) on different aspects of life, situations and behavior etc., which are dissected to be exposed for what they are and how they contribute to our stress levels. The book helps in shifting our Mindset & Life slowly and have more peace of mind.
What I like about this book is:
- It's short & sweet 'enlightening' chapters,
- This is my go to book during my long commutes and I like listening to it over and over again,
- I align myself with the main mantra of the book 'Be Mindful, Enjoy The Present Moment, Breath It In & Let It Go',
- The author has come up with great zingers like 'Clutter Squeeze', 'Develop The Mindful Muscle', 'All You Have Is Now' etc., which mirrors our lives and how we can successfully deal with it.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who feels stressed out and caught up in their lives. Just give this book a listen and slowly you will feel a shift in your Mindset. Get your copy now!

We all need to slow down sometimes
This book breaks down so many points that we can all fail to acknowledge in our busy lives.
I am thankful to have listened and let an outside voice break through, teach me some techniques to slow down, and get through my thick dang skull.
Slow. Down. And. Breathe.
It’s not 3 hours of relaxation music, but rather 3+ hours of advice that will help you far beyond the listen.

It's worth the time
This is an inspirational book that offers 40 stress-relieving strategies and breathing exercises to help you calm down and silence your inner chatterbox. I like the 'call to action' guide at the end of each chapter for contemplation, as well as the fact that I can choose any chapter that fits me at the time. I'm going to listen to it again while implementing the author's plan.
