About this listen

The problem with court politicians is their ability to stab someone in the back repeatedly.

Skharr DeathEater, the Barbarian of Theros, friend of dwarves and emperors, is a liability.

The mysterious Dealer in Whispers and Death has let it be known in the right ears they can kill Skharr DeathEater - for a hell of a price.

The Dealer has never failed to kill their target in the more than 200 years of their existence, and they love a good challenge.

Can Skharr get himself out of this? Will his friends allow him to go it alone?

Even the emperor is shocked to learn he must wait to find out what happens.

Will Skharr survive the Assassin's Trial for a killing he didn't commit (this time)? If he does, how will he attack a phantom no one can find?

I can always use a little Skharr in my life

Skharr is a hot mess lol. And Cassandra... she had an incident, made some changes in her life and switched things up crazy lol. I can relate. Im not quite sure how I feel about her in this book though but I love that she has Skharrs back, so in that way, she good with me.

I really missed Sera though lol. Im not sure what would happen with Sera and Cassandra with Skharr all at once lmao. Cause Cass seems to have gotten very cagey about other women around Shkarr lol. There is a hint that she'll be on a new mission alone at some point but who knows.

Also, Skharr is like a better Conan, if that makes sense. If you don't know who Conan is, google him.
