Great - all in one
This audio really dives deep into barbell training from a scientific perspective. I loved all the science that the author included, and it went beyond what you can find online. My favorite part was the section that compared strength training and conditioning and the importance of both—overall a joy to listen to.

Great info!
I found this book to be super helpful! As a newbie to barbell training the book offered a lot of good tips on different types of workouts, all in easy to understand, non-technical language. The book also goes into some other aspects of training that I hadn’t really considered including mindset, goal-setting, and journaling your workouts. Definitely recommend!

Great addition for a person with a home gym
Since 2020, I've been working out at home, and I have needed some guidance. This book really help me understand some of the finer point of barbell training that I've been missing. It's also a great primer for someone who is just starting out. Excellent narration as well.

Perfect For Beginners and Intermediate Lifters!
I found this book very useful. You can't just go into the gym without a plan. You sure as hell can't have results without a proper mindset and form. The way you eat also plays a key factor in your gym goals. This book helped me with all of these things and more.

Great for just starting your barbell journey!
As someone who loves working out, this book was an excellent refresher on how to go about doing so. The body Ankara,y was a great chapter bs understanding you body and how to build it correctly is crucial to prevent injury. However, I disagree with the statement that high oil products such as chips, fried foods, pastries, margarine and butter should be consumed. These foods should be avoided when lifting or doing anything to optimize your health. Healthy fats such as avocados and nuts is a better alternative. The chapter on core exercises is necessary bc you need to get the foundation right in order to build on it! Great listen!

I love barbell training. Always trying to learn better forms and ways to use a barbell for my exercise routine. As a women barbell can seem intimidating but I know there are so many benefits to training with a barbell. I love this book covers so many advantages of using a barbell. Also, how to use it so I won’t hurt myself. I also learned and got a deep understanding of the science behind barbell training. Loving all the exercises mentioned in this book is very useful. I highly recommend this book if you want to learn as fit barbell into your training!

Get stronger...safely
Injuries are far too common when starting a new workout regimen and safety should be stressed as much as it is in this book. I love how the book started out discussing mindset and then transitioned into other critical areas to set the stage for barbell training. The workouts seem very doable and I'm excited to get started!

Fantastic training tips
With my years of experience as a PT, I genuinely thought this audiobook was well presented and contained interesting information about fitness training and the benefits of barbells to meet all objectives.
