About this listen

Calron is turning eight soon... will he awaken as an accursed Lightning Cultivator or does fate have something else in store for him?

Over a millennium ago, the Lightning Gods ruled Heaven and Earth with their destructive lightning magic. No other Elementalist or Martial Artist could contend against their overwhelming power. Until the fated day . . . when the seven Primordial Thrones broke their slumber.

To hide the truth of what happened, they burned all records of history to ash.

In the present day, foretold destinies and chains of servitude break apart when a once forgotten element awakens under the innocent touch of a young orphan boy.

Will the young Calron be able to escape before the Renegade Gods discover the truth about his mysterious power?

"The Divine Elements" series is perfect for fans of isekai xianxia novels and cultivation fantasy books. This epic xianxia progression fantasy series features a weak-to-strong mc, lightning magic, beast transformation, cultivation ranks, an overpowered main character, and much more . . .

The first book of the adventure-packed xianxia cultivation series - now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and as an audiobook on Audible!

Enjoyed the series

So I totally ended up hinging this entire series this week all based off of book 1. Really good bones and has potential to be a great in the genre.

Great start to a series

I've been looking for a book where the MC is a lightning user for a long time but now it seems that I have found it, and it's great.....Now it's time to dive head first into book 2

Pretty good

It was pretty good some parts cringy as they are talking about 8 year old children but you stick through it hoping there is some time skip… there isn’t, so the narrator had to pends lots of time with kids voices which he did his best at it’s just difficult. But overall it leaves it in a good place to go on to the second story and hopefully he is older and soon can hear the narrators use more normal voices

It's a decent story

I quite enjoyed it. It feels like a nice power progression fantasy, slightly held back in pacing because of the characters young age, but it does unfold nicely. Could do with less descriptions of all the "gorgeous and beautiful" 10 year old girls the MC ran into though...

Interesting idea, unrealistic dialog and too much spoon feeding.

The concept is interesting. The dialog feels to modern 1990s and unrealistic for a bunch of 8-12 year olds. If they were all child geniuses akin to Enders game then maybe but even then the author spoon feeds too much to the reader.

The author should read On Writing by Steven King and apply much of his teaching. It will take this story to a much greater level.

just creepy and weird

The narration was fine, and overall the story wasn't awful. From the beginning the whole thing seemed creepy and weird. It was like Family Guy's creepy neighbor, but for every relationship.

Copy and Paste Plot

It reads like any one of dozens of cultivation books typical of the genre. Boy gets orphaned. Finds a talisman/item/ring/weapon that has a spirit. Spirit teaches them overpowered techniques. Boy uses techniques to get revenge on people that wronged him. They even included the trope of an overweight sidekick. It's all very banal.
