Very encompassing

I can see how this book can help newer people in the marketing space to sort of “catch up” or study up as to the history of different promotional avenues and copywriting to SELL.
At the same time more differentiation should be made as to the importance of specific forms over others especially when taking into account where the industry is going.
Otherwise a great listen, had gone through it twice!

Really useful

First I thought I should have bought the hardcopy version of this book as I have 'rewound' to take notes so often.

This book is a great mix of useable content on the topic of copywriting and sales engagement and personal stories that entertain and inspire to sit back down to write more copy.

For its, in my mind, secondary purpose I'm glad I bought the audio version as re-listening to sections over and over has been energising.

As an instructional manual, it is worth both the money and your time. As an intermittent copywriter, I did not agree with all of the content but I found plenty to improve the effectiveness of my writing. I hope you do too.

A MUST LISTEN For Students of Copywriting!

I LOVED this audiobook.

It gave so much invaluable advice as a student of copywriting, and I even heard some tips that some accomplished copywriters could use!

He breaks down the process of writing copy, taking you by the hand, guiding you through each step of the process :)

He even gives great advice for writing web copy, emails, e-newsletters, and more!

You might even want to grab the hardcopy and kindle edition to help further reinforce, and to internalize the advice and principles he shares in it!

The Professional Copywriters Powerful Assistant

Bruce Lee once said he would rather engage a fighter who had practiced a thousand kicks, than a fighter who practiced a single kick - one thousand times.

And who would't want to become a black belt level in their craft? Especially copywriting! One of the most valuable skills on the planet.

This book alone can make you a good copywriter fast in a matter of days or weeks instead of weeks and years.

The powerful information is such a steal that actually have 2 hard copies and one on audible so whenever a multi million dollar idea hits, whether on a run, at home or traveling I can quckly build a framework to sell my ideas.

I attribute my biggest gains in copywriting are based off Professor Bly's teachings in this book.

Awesome

I love this book because it gives me specific details and an excellent overview of the craft. I'm getting a hard copy and adding The Copywriters Handbook to my personal library. I've listened to many Audible books. Some I didn't find interesting or informative enough to finish or invest in further. The Copywriters Handbook gives me reasons to invest further and keep coming back for reference.

catering to the woke

The author lost my respect when he started to explain me how to use gendered language. I have zero tolerance for gender idiots that want me to tell how to speak

This book does NOT teach copywriting

This was a terrible book. It does not teach copywriting. It tells the history and stories of copywriting. Not one piece of useful information on HOW to copywrite. Waste of time.
I had to give one star to submit a review but it did not deserve any star in any category except trash

Worst voice ever heard

The book might be interesting. I’m sure it is. But the reader’s voice is so annoying you just want to stop listening.
Really guys, pick your readers better please
