About this listen

Does something invisible seem to be holding you back?

Is the typical advice to "just let it go and move on" or "it’s in the past, so just forget about it" unhelpful?

Want to stop feeling as if you’re a prisoner in your own mind and body, and break through into happiness and joy?

Much of what we previously thought about trauma is simply wrong. It’s not a “mental” problem as we previously thought.

This book provides five concepts that will turn your previous understanding of trauma upside down and inside out, leading you to the breakthroughs you’ve been wanting.

You’ll uncover:

  • How trauma really develops
  • Why trauma is a tangible thing and not only an idea in your mind
  • How to resolve chronic physical symptoms like back aches, irritable bowl, joint aches, and many more
  • The type of trauma that goes unrecognized most of the time, and what to do about it
  • Your body’s natural built-in trauma healing mechanism
  • The necessary resources to begin healing your trauma today

Most books on this subject are long and arduous. This audiobook is a concise, power-packed resource to get you or a loved one on the right track.

It’s time to gain a new, helpful perspective on trauma instead of the old, unhelpful perspective, so scroll back up and buy now.

The body keeps score.

Nic gives a layman’s explanation of how trauma affects the body and how the body attempts release the after effects of trauma. His explanation of developmental trauma is helpful.

Concise and enlightening.

This is a short 'Cliff Notes' version of the concept of how we carry trauma in our body. I got this short pamphlet audible version with eyes wide open, meaning I knew that this was a very condensed narrative of the subject. I'm not disappointed for the length. What I am thrilled about is that the author has included all the citations on his website. I'll be going there next. Hopefully, the website works and I'll be satisfied, if not I'll be back to edit this.
