Inspiring!
Wow, this book provided so much insight on how to live from a place of truth and embodying your purpose and vision. The author points out how easy it is to get stuck on autopilot and allow negative belief systems or conditioned patterns rule our lives -taking us away from our true mission and what we deserve in life. I would highly recommend this book to give you the “momentum” to start living a life that is authentically yours on all levels! We are all born with our own superpowers and gifts and Angela really shows us how to access them and cultivate the strategies to do so!

A Fabulous Book!
This book gave me the space to expand my heart, and understand how my soul can grow. Angela has taught me the skills to practice, which has made me aware of my triggers, and I can simply regain my focus to accomplish my goals. I’m already regulating my mind better, which I can also feel in my body. I highly recommend this audio book for your body & mind!

A Book I’ll Reread Every Year
You can tell Angela is an incredibly astute therapist, nailing the real challenges in our careers and home lives, with a level of insight that only comes from decades of experience. What resonates most is how personal she makes this book. It feels like she was reading to me the whole time, because she too describes her own fears and struggles, and the appreciation of life along the way.
This book starts with practical advice to take action on right away at any moment to regain your balance, like the 1 minute 5 senses mediation. Which is perfect for anyone that has a busy career, kids and all of modern life’s responsibilities.
Then she peels off deeper layers and into the heart of relationships with insights into how relationships devolve, and the simple but difficult ways to listen that can be at the heart of recovering intimacy.
Finally, the most powerful insight of the book that stuck with me, she calls Emerson’s Sting (a.k.a. Emerson’s Gift.) Every time I read a new book, I’m looking for just one insight that I can remember. There’s no digging necessary this time. Once you read about Emerson’s Sting, you’ll never forget it. Procrastination can kill your spirit, and your desire to finish what’s most important in your life. If you read this chapter, you’ll reawaken that part of your soul that'll insist on starting what's most important to you, because it’ll be the ONLY way to stop the sting.
Angela’s insights remind me of both the Romantics like Emerson and the Stoics, but written by a modern therapist with ancient wisdom, in our technology laden life.

This 5 Super Powers Book is Super
This book is both practical and has tremendous depth. I learned so much about myself and I am now inspired to make the changes I have procrastinated my whole life. The author’s vulnerability contributed to my new found motivation to grow and stretch myself, as she did. This is a must book for teens and adults of all ages. I am more focused and available to live my superpowers. Great read.
