Sound advice

You might look at the title and think how important can gut health really be and how can it restore the mind and relieve anxiety. Well, it can do that and much more. Surprisingly, the gut is the gateway to all the other systems in the body, that’s how both nutrients and toxins enter the blood stream and absorbed by the muscles, organs, and tissues. If you have poor gut health, it can lead to diseases, conditions, and ailments, both mental and physical. So the importance of gut health can’t be overstated. This is a great listen to learn more about gut heath and the best ways to improve it. It covers a variety of topics from food allergies, intolerances, probiotics, and a lot more.

For better general health

I learned that poor gut health can have a significant impact on our overall health. When in the intestine there is an imbalance between certain bacteria, chronic inflammation can develop. This is called dysbiosis. Here are some examples of symptoms:

sugar craving
Articular pain
Brain fog and confusion
Frequent headaches or migraines
Frequent constipation or diarrhea
Autoimmune diseases

The author outlines some key things to consider for optimal gut health:
Nutrition, the influence of marketing on our food choices, the opinion of multiple experts or gurus on the subject, as well as our lifestyle and our genetics.

Transform your health A must-listen!

'Gut Health Reset" is an excellent resource for anyone who is looking to improve their got health, lose weight, and reduce anxiety. The book provides an easy-to-follow 4 week plan that is perfect for beginners.
The author, Kara Holmes, does an excellent job of explaining the importance of gut health and how it affects our overall health and wellbeing. She also provides practical tips and advice for improving gut health, such as eating a balanced diet, reducing stress.
One of the things I particularly liked about this book is that the plan is not too restrictive or overwhelming, It's easy to follow and incorporates a variety of delicious and nutritious foods, The recipes included in the book ae also great, and I appreciated that there were options for different dietary needs.
Overall, I would highly recommend" Gut Health Reset" to anyone who is looking to improve their gut health, lose weight, or reduce anxiety, easy to follow, and provides practical tips and advice that anyone can implement into their daily routine.

Lots of great tips to improve your health

I like how the author starts with a real story about her own issues with food and health. And even as a former RN, she struggled to find answers to her health problems from western medicine.
There is so much great information about antibiotics and pesticides and how they affect our health, and great info on many different gut disorders.
She's included super helpful sleep tips and info on mineral supplements.
I loved the simple 5-minute breathing technique (with your diaphragm) that can help to decrease stress.
One of the greatest things in this book is just the basic tips on how and what to eat. Our society has been so misled over the last few decades by the low-fat craze that ended up causing obesity and diabetes. It's crazy and I love that Holmes explains it so that we can understand how we've ended up where we are now, and changes we can make to improve our health by taking care of our gut.

Extremely Educational and Helpful!

If you want to enhance your entire health, starting with your digestive system, "Gut Health Reset" by Kara Holmes is the book for you. You may be listening this and thinking, "How can restoring my mind and relieving my anxiety have anything to do with my gut health?" The audiobook makes it abundantly evident that the condition of one's gut has far-reaching implications for one's overall health. The immune system, physical health, and mental wellbeing are all impacted by gut health. Neglecting your gut health can lead to a host of health problems, both mental and physical.
Overall, this is an excellent listen to have if you are interested in learning more about gut health and the most effective strategies to improve it. Life changing!

First let me start by saying that I am also a healthcare provider and although my own education stressed the importance of gut health I don't think it has ever truly sunk in for me until now. Not that long ago I was having some serious gut issues of my own and after I dug into this book things really started to click! Guess what? I feel so much better now!

I love the easy flow of information and how things are explained in very relatable terms. I will be sharing this with both patients as well as friends and family.

This is something you must read even if you aren't having trouble!

Very Highly Informative and Instructive.

This is a very highly informative and instructive book on how you can take care of your gut health and in so doing improve your overall health. The book has clearly shown that the health of our gut is closely linked with every other aspect of our being. An unhealthy gut may affect your immune system, and contribute to disease and mental health.
This is an audiobook for anyone who wishes to change or improve their life. It is for anyone who wants to have an understanding of what happens inside our body. A deeper understanding of how to eat for a healthy gut, and develop health-minded habits and a gut health reset plan are some of the benefits of this very valuable book.
I have found it very useful in making plans for the reset of my diet.

So helpful

I appreciate that this book starts with a gut health journey from the author. I had no idea that gut health could affect the body so much. And the PDF with the key takeaways, quizzes, and charts with all the necessary information is extremely helpful.
