Change your life one meal at a time.

Great health starts from within and that is none-more-true than beginning with what we put in our bodies. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing exceptional about the Anti Inflammatory diet and Dash diet (as anyone who has had a checkup with their doctor can attest to). What this book gives you is the ‘why’ behind the effects of today's prepackaged foods on our bodies. And let me tell you, it is a very persuasive argument.

Intriguing!

This is a fully-fledged walk-through explanation of two meal plans that are all about getting you to eat more fruit and veg - and ditch all of that calorie counting silliness. I will be giving the anti inflammatory book a second read through because there is a fair bit of dense info in there.

Easy to listen to narration-wise, but sometimes a little difficult to understand. The Anti-inflammatory part of the book had so many medical terms in it. Could have been a little better.

If you have ever tried losing those extra pounds

If you have ever tried losing those extra pounds before, then deep down you’ve probably heard most of this already. Otherwise, this is an excellent summary of the Dash and anti inflammation plans. Between reducing your salt, sugar, and reducing fatty food consumption, you have everything you need to get on board and start changing your life for the better.

I’d listen about dash before.

Probably one of the best books I’ve read about the dash diet. I’d read about dash before. It is consistently tipped as being one of the healthiest balanced diets to be on. I’m going to be following it alongside the 5:2 plan.

The book is pretty much basic sensible

The book is pretty much basic sensible health advice coupled with natural-food meal ideas. It’s all broken down into helpful explanations about how to prevent autoimmune reactions and high blood pressure by changing up whats on your plate.

Nice

To give credit where credit is due a lot of research and time clearly went into this book but I was looking for something a little different. Plenty of history, science, and facts made this book a drag to listen to.
