About this listen

Spooky and Joe are in a gaming reality where it is quickly becoming clear that it is quite real. They are forced to fight monsters, dungeons, and betrayal, but their greatest enemy might be denial. Both Joe and Spooky are now nearly immortal, but how will Joe react when the facts of the situation can no longer be denied? He may never see his late wife in the afterlife.

How will Spooky deal with the changes within herself? Neither she nor her co-Champion have the option to become mere mortals again.

Listen as Joe and Spooky continue to grow their capital in people, skills, equipment, and magic.

I do understand what the writer was trying to do but it dumped too many times and went over too many random things. in the player Chad I think the abilities and ephelides for unnecessary for the conversation. that part of the chats we're unnecessary.

This might sound harsh sure that I need to be.

I hope you are planning more installments to this story. I'm finding it very entertaining. Thanks.

I am so sick of spooky calling him dumb and then not explaining anything to him. I am so done with her bitc#y attitude. She dose nothing to help the mc she only cares about herself.

Spooky is the problem

Story hasn't really progressed much besides the leveling of the two co-champions, that and spooky gaining some insight into her/itself. Main plot is for the most part, completely absent. I get the feeling after many more books come out it will be better, but after two it's just dragging.

Pretty blah.

I can't stand spooky and how she treats Joe , I'm hoping he finds out all the ways she is manipulating him and kills her.

Great potential but spooky is a horrible character

it was an overall good book, it had a few cringe moments, but nothing too serious.

Pretty good

(spoiler)!

Right after Joe falls asleep the story just goes down the drain for 10 chapter..
pretty much all revolving around spooky and some whiny drivel that could be summarized in one or two chapters.
Would consider reading the rest but after listening to either useless information or REALLY BORING character development
I can't stomach anymore. This one was a YIKES for me..

Nearly 1/3 of the book is useless

as we have seen in the first book They're not in Kansas anymore this is a marvelous progression showing the tensions conflicts that arise when when someone is put into a situation of not being able to realize the difference between gameplay and reality and what that would happen if you were an artificial intelligence and how you would deal with balancing emergence with programming and duty to your client

truths are told but is anybody listening?

it was good but a little confusing at first. to let stories collide into each other was difficult to follow. it slowed it down a lot. Joe should have known a few more things and been working towards defend from the time he started.

Good but.

To much time spent on spooky and not much has really happened in two books for what is great story potential
