This might sound harsh sure that I need to be.

I do understand what the writer was trying to do but it dumped too many times and went over too many random things. in the player Chad I think the abilities and ephelides for unnecessary for the conversation. that part of the chats we're unnecessary.

Spooky is the problem

I am so sick of spooky calling him dumb and then not explaining anything to him. I am so done with her bitc#y attitude. She dose nothing to help the mc she only cares about herself.

Pretty blah.

Story hasn't really progressed much besides the leveling of the two co-champions, that and spooky gaining some insight into her/itself. Main plot is for the most part, completely absent. I get the feeling after many more books come out it will be better, but after two it's just dragging.

More story

To much time spent on spooky and not much has really happened in two books for what is great story potential

Infuriating

Why would someone with that much worldly experience give so much power to an AI that he has know for an hour and had already demonstrated tendencies toward being manipulative and controlling?

Nearly 1/3 of the book is useless

(spoiler)!

Right after Joe falls asleep the story just goes down the drain for 10 chapter..
pretty much all revolving around spooky and some whiny drivel that could be summarized in one or two chapters.
Would consider reading the rest but after listening to either useless information or REALLY BORING character development
I can't stomach anymore. This one was a YIKES for me..

Great potential but spooky is a horrible character

I can't stand spooky and how she treats Joe , I'm hoping he finds out all the ways she is manipulating him and kills her.

truths are told but is anybody listening?

as we have seen in the first book They're not in Kansas anymore this is a marvelous progression showing the tensions conflicts that arise when when someone is put into a situation of not being able to realize the difference between gameplay and reality and what that would happen if you were an artificial intelligence and how you would deal with balancing emergence with programming and duty to your client
