I have friends who have ADHD, and I can tell you that what they experience is something that they have to figure out how to change some habits so they can be strong and trust people who can be reliable. We can improve our emotions; we can start by not overreacting to anger, as it hinders our progress at work. We must ask ourselves, ' Is this for me?' If not, we should say, ' This is not for me.' Essentially, we must enjoy what we do; otherwise, we won’t last in that particular job. The book provides excellent strategies to help us organize our thoughts, whether we have ADHD or not.

As someone who often gets stuck in the mess of day-to-day life, I appreciated how this book approaches cleaning and organizing with ADHD in mind. It doesn’t pretend there’s a one-size-fits-all fix, and that honesty is refreshing. The author offers realistic strategies that acknowledge how hard it can be to start (and finish!) tasks when executive function is a struggle. I liked the room-by-room format and the checklists, which helped break things down into smaller steps. There’s also a good balance of structure and flexibility, which makes it easier to adapt suggestions to what actually works. The inclusion of stories from public figures made the topic feel less isolating. This isn’t about creating a picture-perfect home, but about building systems that work for you. If you’ve tried and failed with traditional organizing books, this one might speak more directly to how your brain works.

She’s smart, creative, and full of energy, but keeping things organized has always been a problem for her. She said that she's learned to clearing room by room, following the tips and checklists - and the process feels easier and doable; she appreciates the thoughtful gift.

My partner has ADHD, and this audiobook gave me great insight into why traditional organizing methods don’t always work. It also explains why and offers realistic, non-overwhelming strategies. It’s helping both of us create a system that actually works in our home

My desk was drowning in papers, and my filing system was a chaotic mess. The constant paper clutter was impacting my ability to focus and stay organized. This Audiobook became my paper-reduction guide, offering strategies for decluttering and managing documents with ADHD. In addition it was clear and engaging, and it makes even technical topics relatable.
