About this listen

Retirement means immortality. Immortality means adventure. Life begins at 70.

Running on the world's fastest quantum computer is a very special game: one where retirees leave their flesh-and-blood lives in search of endless adventure. Weapons, spells, gold, experience points.... These are the marks by which life is now measured.

Ethan Crane wants none of it. In fact, he never wanted to retire at all, let alone play a game for all eternity. But now he's on a mission to find his wife - a wife he just discovered is still alive and inside the game.

Nothing will stop him from reaching her. Not even himself.

Really good series. Keeps you in the story and makes you feel the like you could live this in real life.

Loved the story. All three books were great to listen to. Travis Baldree is this generations Frank Muller as nd is so good at giving real personality to all the characters. Thanks Travis

Really Enjoyed this Trilogy

Since Mr. Kong introduced me to LitRPG's, I've been hooked. This one, while not a blockbuster, was very much worth the Credit and listen.

Plenty of Action, Romance (Not Graphic, but a love story) and plots.

I'd love to see more of this world.

okay read

I listened to this while driving for work some parts were good but Ethan is a horrible protagonist wishy washy in everything he does. I found him more annoying than entertaining I couldn't relate to his mindset for most of the story. after the bombshell at the beginning of book three I would have been reminded marriage is until death do us part. oh well good way to burn time I suppose.
