About this listen

For John Sutton, rest is just around the corner.

Soon it will be time to sit on his porch, kick his feet up, and watch his wheat grow.

All he has to do first is fight his way through a cutthroat magic competition held once every thousand years, navigating mage politics and an aggressive dragon empire bent on punishing him for Farroutef’s death.

When his journey takes him to a strange new world, John finds himself out of place once again, making him wonder if he should just walk away for good, until an encounter with a local god sets him on a new path, teaching him more about himself than he knew was possible.

Accompanied by his faithful sidekick, Rosh Vahni, John sets out on an adventure that will change his life forever, hopefully for the better.

Conservation is book eight of the bestselling fantasy LitRPG series by Seth Ring, author of Nova Terra.

Not his best

I really don’t like the “filler “ books. It almost as the publisher demands a book so the author kicks one out where a lot of things happen but at the same time, nothing happens.

Over too fast

Conservation is a solid continuation of the series, introducing new characters and new challenges. John continues to grow, and as he does, so do his enemies. These are fun short reads, like eating a bag of potato chips before you know it, the bag is empty, and you want more.

Love Series Hope Seth Ring Nails Ending

If you.are at this point in series you know Jon Sutton is an unkillable eternal God with his own dimension cintaining multiple worlds and a gang of supporters lthat have fearsome God like powers just below his own tier. Also John has saved his world from likr 9 apocakupses, became leader of higher planes mage school.

So with all this power it is kind of like Goku going from Super Saiyan to Super Super Saiyan. Seeing John raise himself to Godhood was cool but becoming a zuper God is kind of not as suspenseful. I still am commited and the series is in my top 5 for litrpg however I hope Seth has a plan to give series and John a good ending.

Loved it, hated it

Damn cliff-hanger, but M.K. brought it to life and made me feel like I was there the whole time. The story continues and the characters grow, I just have one complaint, cliff-hangers and the time between releases, guess that’s 2 complaints, oh well.

Another good addition

Yeah yeah is it a filler? Nope it’s just a good story. Take note authors. Something dose not have to happen in every book. But something dose need to happen!

Not as good as the others

The story takes a dip here, it´s not as well told as all the others.

Here the setup seem to be a tournament book, a classic trope that has been done many times. But after a while, it´s something else. He starts to fight other gods, turns himself into a god. Totally 4y of events takes place in this book and sometimes the story is described in very very broad strokes and lots of times concepts and things are just made up on the spot without no explanation. That part was something I didn't like, it felt like a bored writer making it easy for himself. Other parts has same humor, same fun and exciting fights and vivid and really good story telling as it usually has. So it´s a little of a mixed bag, some really good, and some bad fluff. All in all, "It´s okay" (2 stars) - Michael Kramer is as per usual, fantastic.
