Excellent guide to heal your inner child
This audiobook has been very helpful to me in doing the work I need to do to address my early childhood traumas. In the back of my mind, I always knew I should address the traumas from my childhood, but I never gave myself the time and space to do so. Listening to this audiobook, something really clicked, and I realized I needed to stop putting this off and do the work. The audiobook takes you through the necessary steps and it quickly becomes evident how doing the required work will benefit your current relationships.

Guidance with compassion
I think we each have some past trauma that needs healing. I have worked through quite a bit of trauma in my life but my husband has a hard time admitting that his past influences his present. I listened to this book first, though, to see if it would be a good fit for him, and I was pleased with the way the author wrote this book, the compassion in their writing, and how well they can guide the reader/listener through the various steps of addressing your trauma. My husband also listened to the book, and I noticed how hard it has been to address his past. He is doing an amazing job of listening to the chapters and doing the work that's being asked. It is very tough to deal with your past, but I wish people understood how strong they are for wanting to heal those wounds. This is a great book to work through.
