Meanwhile, while I am a PhD and not an MD, I’ve been actively trying/failing forward with most weight loss resources that have been on the market the past 15-25 years. I’m 49 now and will be 50 in several months. I’m healthy but I am “morbidly overweight”. My family history - including a retired nurse - is of several chronic diseases. My goals for years was not just to “lose weight”, but to do so in a way that works so I could be both an inspiration to and support for my family & chosen family of friends. I’ve read & done so much I recently made a career change to become a health coach.
