About this listen

Having lost the Trial, Hagen didn't just lose his interface and his memory of it, but also everything he'd achieved. His UFC career was ruined before it even began. Stripped of all his skills and abilities, Mike is once again a useless weakling. The last straw is the loss of all the money that he'd bet on his own victory.

But you do remember, don't you, that Phil Panfilov promised to take care of his old comrade from Pibellau?

What can Mike achieve with a non-combat version of Phil's augmented reality interface? He could, of course, become a businessman or found a gaming start-up, but where would he find the money and investors he needs?

It looks like he might have to start fighting again. However, this time there're no prison guards to maintain order and make sure that rules are obeyed. Once out of prison, Hagen is fair game for anyone who wants to kill him. Once again he has to survive on his own.

I really enjoyed this book. Good balance of fighting and slice of life and busines development. Hopefully this isn't the last of the saga of Mike. Or maybe an expansion of the original team Phil in a new story in the future.

Hope this isn't all

in this one it takes off after mike gets the new interface thing from phil in the first level up series. an is more like that one for the first half . then mike gets back into fighting again as he figures out how to use the new interface for his underground fighting matches very good second book. i would like to see the author right others books on this series since so far both were all 5 stars for me.

good side quest to the first level up

Ok I skipped the first Level Up: Knockout after reading the description: it was old stuff from the original series just from another perspective. But this book was spot on for new fun and excitement within the level up world. Fun fans fast paced I enjoyed it throughly. Recommend for anyone that enjoyed the original series or the first book of this series. I hope there are more books in this world in the future.

Good expansion of original series

A perfect fit in the universe of Dan Sugralinov, tying together Disgardium and the original Level Up Series. This is my second time reading it, and it made me just as happy as the first time. I love Mike's story of growth, his struggles and mindset, and the choices he made to become a better person. It's so hopeful and so grounded, and the epilogue was such a bittersweet goodbye to these people I've come to really love I got teared up (not uncommon with his books).
It's not normal for a book or an author to be able to illicit such a wide range of emotions from a reader. It feels so close to a documentary about the early life of a really great person.
I absolutely recommended reading Re-Start if you haven't, and then jumping in to Disgardium after this series.

A Masterpiece

Just not good at all it feels like the book is one big bag of nothing.

What a big let down

The first 5 chapters of this book were rough to get through. It felt like the author wanted to recapture the dynamics of the book #1 intro and it was just really painful. After that the book got pretty good again.

The endings was a bit lacking as well.

All in all, not a great book not a terrible book (except for the beginning 5 chapters.)

Rough start with Good Majority
