Zany fun

I loved this story. It made me think of the old Amelia Badelia stories I read as a kid. I am looking forward to listening to this again with my children. I smiled often with how crazy this story was. It is a nice difference from some of the heavier books I have listened to lately.

Fantastic & Humorous LitRPG Adventure

I was very amused and entertained by this audiobook. I admired the creativity and inventiveness behind the story. I was delighted by the intricacy of the English language utilized, which was shown by the tongue-twisters, alliteration, puns, and names of places and things which added to the humor found in the story. I thought Kristiana Rice's narration was amazing, and I was astounded by her performance which was easy to listen to and enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook through StoryOrigin. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which included my honest opinions regarding this tale.

Great and Entertaining

Stellar and entertaining light litrpg adventure. This story hit a tone of deadpan and snarky humor but also had heart. The writing is solid with some memorable flairs such as the repeated alliteration, puns, and naming conventions. The characters are unique but feel like they fit in the world that was created. The story? It covers a journey of progression that feels relatable and a main character whose not always the most confident in what she's doing.

The narration sells all of the above. The narrator enhances every facet of the story.

Highly recommended.

Be careful! You will forget where you are!

Be careful reading this book! It sucked me in until I was standing right next to the main character, even when it got dangerous! All her friends became my friends as we journey into this perilous adventure! Something always brings a smile to my face or makes me laugh out loud. The entire book is an absolute blast! Every character, every decision, every sarcastic remark is an absolute pleasure. The adventure keeps pulling me to listen, like a black star, I am (happily) engulfed!

More family friendly Monty Python.

The story was overall serviceable, And the humor had a similar flavor to it as a series of connected Monty Python sketches.

It wasn't necessarily as funny, But it regularly got a laugh out of me

Silly, Tongue-In-Cheek Fun

This was such a fun little series. I am glad that all three books were together, otherwise I would have felt cheated buying three tiny books for one book's worth of content. The humor is very self referential and the plot and action reminds me of some old school video games, which I'm fairly certain is also intentional. If you are in the mood for something light-hearted that still piques your interest for action, then this is a good fit. I did start to feel a bit bored around halfway through the third book with some of the repetitive action, but it soon held my interest shortly afterwards so I'm not worried about removing a star just for that. Just buy this and enjoy yourself.
