About this listen

To preserve the future, Alex must find the secrets of the past.

After a devastating battle, Alex Roth is left with more questions than answers, and—as the Ravener grows more aggressive—he and his companions struggle to learn the truth of Thameland’s Cycle.

But—thanks to an old enemy—they do have one lead, though it will take them into the bowels of the darkest Hells.

To prepare, Alex will have to reveal who he truly is to the other Heroes of Thameland, and deal with the consequences.

On the line are not only truths about Thameland’s endless, bloody cycles…but also the greatest secret of the patron Saint of Alric...the Traveller.

Book six of the best-selling series. Continue your fantastical journey into a coming-of-age magic academy fantasy with a weak-to-strong progression into power, deepening mystery, a setting inspired by D&D, detailed world building and magical science, action, comedy, slice-of-life, and GameLit elements.

I was struggling to finish the book around 5 hours left mark. It was being super tedious. I didn't remember it being this many slices of life. It got better and I want to continue the series. I would really like to know if the author planned the book 6 plot back at book 1 or if it evolved.

I was struggling

The evolution of the narrative is nothing short of exhilarating, inviting readers to embark on a journey that is both captivating and profound. It is evident that the author has meticulously crafted this journey, ensuring that every decision, every setback, and every moment of enlightenment contributes to a larger narrative arc. I am left inspired by the character’s evolution, feeling as though I too have embarked on a transformative journey.

One of the most striking aspects of this book is the character development. Each character, intricately woven into the fabric of the story, experiences a transformation that feels authentic and relatable. The main character, in particular, stands out as a beacon of growth. As the audio unfold, we witness their struggles, triumphs, and the myriad of challenges they face. This layered portrayal not only deepens our connection to the protagonist but also highlights the intricacies of the human experience.

The problem-solving elements woven throughout the plot are equally compelling. The characters are confronted with dilemmas that require ingenuity and resilience, showcasing their resourcefulness in the face of adversity. This dynamic adds a thrilling edge to the narrative, as readers are invited to engage with the unfolding events and cheer for the characters as they navigate their journeys.

I really enjoyed this book. Alex is somewhat more annoying in this book but over all it was good. I think the only thing that I don’t like is how Alex gets to tell everyone what to do and they listen. He is more arrogant I think is the right word. It’s a small thing. Other then that I love the story and the characters and Travis always does a phenomenal job of telling the story!

I never get tired of these books

SPOILER ALERT

I love this series. I just was sad that this series took a turn in this book. I didn't like the origin of the Traveller. I wasn't stoked that this came back around to earth. I wish it just stayed in a made up universe. That was my biggest frustration. Other than that, great book!

Love this series, but...

I would rate this book to be in the top three of all books I have read, that include Defiance of the Fall, and Cradle. it is a story of great potential, with characters that strengthen the story, fighting that causes you to hold your breath, magic that blows your mind.

Top quality
