Love it!!

This was a great place to start learning about mindfulness! The best thing about this book is that it provides ways to practice and deal with stress, anger, anxiety, panic, and negativity. I also love how Kimberley encourages us to live in the present. You will learn how to be in control of your life and also be strong.

Great book

This is a great book on ways to cope with stress and anxiety.
I think we all suffer from it at some point so this book is useful for everyone.

It gives some great techniques about how to be present and manage the feelings you have. Mindfulness can be an extremely powerful tool.
In particularly liked the part about the habits you should work on - this really resonated with me

Functional strategies

Listened to this in preparation to travel, as I carry significant anxiety around flying/travel, and the strategies in this helped me build a toolkit for not only getting ahead of anxiety before it starts, but resolving it once it appears. Will be returning to this in the future to refresh my habits.

"You have power within you."

We all suffer from anxiety and depression almost every day. That's why we look for medication, but sometimes it does not work. 



The writer in this book basically tries to heal your wounds so that you will come out of this terrible phase.

I really enjoyed this book!

I feel I can relate to the author’s personal experiences. She shares well thought out and researched methods to overcome anxiety, stress and depression in a gently way. She focuses on root cause which I appreciate. I especially loved the chapter on mindfulness. This is a book I’ll be sharing with my loved ones. The narrator has such a soothing voice too. Highly recommend!

Wonderful read!

Great advice on a difficult subject. I loved an alternate way to look at anxiety & not something saying the same repetitive advice. Highly recommend for anyone struggling or know anyone dealing with anxiety!

Well written with realistic solutions

I have anxiety issues and these types of books usually give me anxiety. But not this one. The combination of the narrator and a well written book made it pleasant and I was receptive to learning. The most powerful part of the book was the action steps to identify and treat which stage of the 'anxiety cycle' a person is experiencing. Learning about the anxiety cycle is the first realistic and achievable step to actually decrease my anxiety.

The book is well researched and I recommend it for people looking to decrease their anxiety and for people who want to know more or help someone with the challenges of anxiety.

Solid advice!

I listen to a lot of these types of audiobooks (cause I need it! 😆), and this one is great. LOVE the 30-day strategy… having a timeframe or an end date always helps when I’m trying to incorporate a new habit or reach a new goal. Mindfulness isn’t just talked about in the abstract, but about practical applications and how it can be incorporated into your life today and how you can build on the foundation for years to come. Very relaxing!

This was a very pleasant listen and I found it not only very useful but easy to manage. The biggest thing I found most useful for myself was a set of tasks or some guidance that wasn't overwhelming and this was exactly that. With any self help books there is a commitment component on behalf of the reader, so if you listen intently and really apply the information to your lifestyle things will get better. Regain control of your life, with a better understanding of the problem you will have the tools to better place yourself mentally and for longer. Don't wait, give it a shot.
