A worthwhile path

I like the conceptual approach of this book. I have only begun the first exercises related to defining your values and aspirations, so I can’t speak to the long-term effectiveness overall and it will take me some time to fully implement these concepts. But I have gained many insights just from listening to the audiobook and from the beginning exercises, so I already feel it is a worthwhile path.

Also, I really enjoyed the author/narrator’s voice and manner of speaking.

Remarkable book

This is truly a great self-help book! It's on par with Atomic Habits. I've played it 3 times, and I'm enthusiastically going through the workbook.

So glad it’s an audiobook now!

I bought the paperback when it came out and love it - it cuts out the filler present in many personal development books, and I love the framing of self-discipline as a form of self-respect rather than punishment. It really did motivate me to be more disciplined.

It’s well worth a reread, so I’m excited to go through it again with Giovanni narrating!

I am four hours in and I feel like it has been two hours of being read web addresses and referred to a PDF. I am hungry for the insight, but all I ever hear is 'visit here...'

Comprehensive guide

Great book! I just finished listening to it for the first time and feel the nees to go back and really study it and practice it. Full of great advice, tools and techniques. Provides a practical framework that makes self-discipline feel tangible and truly attainable! I am so grateful for finding this book.

This book is awesome. I would suggest reading hard copy

I love this book so much , I would suggest reading a physical copy. It’s broken down really good with illustrations and more.hopefully Giovanni names the chapters or at least add an pdf with the illustration in the hard copy. Overall great book with tons of actionable task

This book is a gift to help the human condition

I have read or listened to around 250 personal development books over the last 5 years and I have a lot of favorites. But this book and Atomic Habits are at the very top of that list.

It’s not only extremely well thought out, organized, and articulated. Bonus: the author’s voice is pleasant and calming. Self-discipline is one of the most important aspects of being human and the reason people either struggle and suffer, or thrive.

To the author, thank you for such a beautiful gift to help the human condition, to help people who want to and are willing to do the work to wake up and thrive by applying your perspectives and methods.
