About this listen

Red has never been closer to the power of a true cultivator.

As the inheritance trial nears its end, the challenges only grow deadlier. The competition is fierce, and Red must rely on his hidden powers to outsmart opponents far stronger than him in order to advance.

Winning the trial promises not only a path to power, but also answers to burning questions. Who was the cultivator behind the inheritance ground? How does the moon’s curse affect Red? And what is the nature of the red mist inhabiting his body?

Outside the trial loom greater dangers. The coming beast horde will force former enemies into a tentative alliance, but even that may not be enough. A demonic presence has infested the town, and the boundary between this world and the Infernal Realm grows thin.

To survive, Red must master every skill at his disposal… no matter how forbidden.

I get why Allen is the way he is, but mannn I hate people who are constantly in their own way, however im excited to see how red will evolve and I am looking forward to him getting a legitimate power up and doing some cool shit

Loving Red, hate Allen

I'm absolutely in love with this story and world. My only complaint is that I wish there was more to binge. Can't wait for the next book.

So good

I thought there were only the three books, and was not happy with the amount of time eaten by the trials.
Happily there's more to come and it's been a good story so far.

Better than the last.

Only problem is that I binge the entire book in a the matter of a week. And I crave more. It's hard to space this book out. I start listening and I keep listening.

I need more

A good book like all the characters like the story, but too much fluff all bunch of nonsense and needs to be a little longer more meat to the story three books in and I feel like I’m still on book one

Good but short a lot of fluf

Nameless Author continues to use an ample amount of angst ridden obscene vulgarity at the start of this book and eventually tapering it off and tones it down somewhat and moves the story along in a very interesting, even enjoyable, way. However, the ending was a significant disappointment with a somewhat lame set of events.

Griffin Puatu's performance is very good except for the loud vulgar interjections.

I'm really torn as to whether I will continue the series?

A challenging ordeal to listen to

The book is decent overall, but it stops in the middle of a scene and on the way to the next event. Either wind the book down and set it up for the next book or extend the book.

This kind of break is ok IF the next book is already out, but really is annoying when you have to wait months or a year for the next installment of the series.

I don’t recall how the last book ended, but considering this one started off in the trial dungeon, this seems to be a habit for the author. I’ll make a habit of spending my money on other authors who follow traditional story flow.

Book stops in middle of scene

The story so far has been good & I will continue the books but I will probably wait until either the story is complete or it is much farther into the story 😮‍💨

The first book is good it starts & ends in a good spot.

The second book starts good but ends at a stupid cliffhanger that is halfway through the trial that they are in.🤨

The third book feels like it starts with what should be the ending of book 2, the final 1/3 of it & ends with the first 1/3 of book 3🥴

In other words it feels like you're only getting disjointed parts of the books.😮‍💨

The story so far has been good but....
