About this listen

Auric Cain found his chance.

He proved himself, took control of his life, and became stronger than he ever thought possible. So why is everything falling apart? Literally.

With the help of allies old and new, Auric thwarted Salvo’s plan and narrowly avoided cataclysm. But in the wake of that confrontation, something went very, very wrong.

Now everywhere Auric turns he sees that his home, his world, and even the System itself are coming apart at the seams. Entropic gateborn roam the wilds unchecked while rogue storms and freak anomalies spring up seemingly at random. And worse, there’s rumors of something coming in the distance. Something that arrives without warning and leaves only the shattered remnants of reality in its wake.

Auric achieved the power he’s always dreamed of, but with Salvo gone, there’s no one left to stand beside him. To figure out why the System’s unraveling. To fight against the oncoming chaos. If he’s going to survive, he’ll have to delve deeper into the inner workings of the System than anyone ever has before—right back to where it all began.

Auric Cain found his chance, and if he’s lucky, he might live to regret it.

It felt a bit rushed and short, like it's a bridge to where the series will go to next

seems like a bridge book.

overall a good second book
love the class system
while a few hiccups its a good book only real complaint is when they meet a "drake" then clearly describes a wyvern not a drake I don't expect a perfect story just use the right words to describe your creatures

decent

This book series has been good but this second book was not near as compelling as the first one was. The main character gets sent to a very dangerous world right at the end so perhaps…

Slipped a bit

This second book of the series was interesting. A nice bridge book for the next one in the series and a now look into a new system. Looking forward to seeing how this new one affects our MC!

Very entertaining!

Very dull. Uninteresting and forgettable characters, a storyline as flat as a dead man’s EKG, and worst of all, the world is lifeless. The thing that so many new authors lack that leaves me perpetually bored are their dull, nondescript worlds that clearly lack any form of artistic vision.

Just boring
