Undecided

Throughout most of the book, the story felt like one of those really bad online cultivation stories. First, the main character is dislikable and a bit of an A-Hole with only a few redeeming qualities. Also, the storyline borrows some of the worst qualities from the cultivation genre. The only thing that elevated this up to three stars was the fact that the story was well written, and it had a fairly good ending. It’s worth checking out the next-book in the series but if the main character personality still feels like sandpaper, I don’t think I’ll be getting anymore of the series.

Good book.

If you're a fan of cultivation LitRPG you are going to enjoy this book.
No sexy scenes but lots of action.
An owner of a few restaurants here on earth gets transported into a recently vacated body on another world. His powers are not like everyone else's so he kinda has to learn as he goes.
Good writing and narration.
I give this book 6 out of 5 stars.

Comedy gold

This is very funny. It starts a bit serious but is really funny. MC is flawed in a good way. He is very likable too. As long as the author doesn’t start taking his work seriously and continues the comedy it will be a good series.

(why did no one stop the female narrator from saying sènior for the first half of the book. What!?)

i had a lot of problems with this book but its ok

The MC is truly unlikable he's generally a jerk. He constantly whines about how everything is different from the books he read on earth, except they aren't. nearly everything in this book is predictable if you read any other cultivation series you would be prepared for everything you find in here.

the male narrator reads incredibly slowly. i normally listen at about 1.3x but had to speed this book up to 1.7.

The MC is instantly better at everything than everyone else. that isn't actually a problem, just a heads up, this has an mc that gains abilities without effort, thats a turn off for some people but not others.

All told though the story was actually pretty good, I'm not sure if I'll get the second book.

Wow

This is a really well done tie in to the main series and I love the way the characters are developing can’t wait for more

fun cultivation with a twist

a iseki cultivation with a potty mouthed mc was a new one. I enjoyed his mockery of how things are done but also his intelligent use of said things all while planning to give all them naysayers a beat down one day

We’re is all the time.

The hero use to be a blind restaurant owner, reincarnate into a failed cultivator’s body. He manages to survive with a lot of help, blunders his way to becoming stronger.

Another awesome story from A.P. Gore!

A bit different style from Lazy Immortal, but great storytelling just the same. Very much looking forward to more adventures in this storyline.
