About this listen

When all is lost, what makes you go on?

His life a wasteland post-System integration, John Lee struggles to deal with the weight of a world irrevocably changed.

Given great power by chance, his Levels a by-product of a rage that he finds unable to quench, John struggles to find the balance between a hatred for the System that destroyed his world and the benefits it gives him, allowing him to save even more.

Yet, as he draws survivors across the Yukon to Whitehorse, dangers grow in the deep wilderness, out of sight. It’s a race between Leveling and safety, for John and his friends.

One that they might be losing.

Redeemer of the Dead is the second book in the post-apocalyptic LitRPG bestselling series, the System Apocalypse. It combines urban fantasy, science fiction and apocalyptic elements along with video game mechanics.

another fantastic book

I'm genuinely pleased and enthused to recommend this book. The action, magic system and only slightly dweebish main character are truly enjoyable.

Another good book in this series...

I enjoyed this book and it was entertaining but much less of a fleshed out adventure than the last. It really needed to be longer and to add more depth to the overall plot. As a result it sort of felt like a special episode in an ongoing TV series rather than an actual novel, regardless of the fact that it's part of a book series. It is still worth the credit but I hope Wong doesn't string us along with sub-10-hour episodes going forward. I'd like it if he gets back to the writing that has the feel of world building and the breadth of adventure that was in the first book.

Truly love the world the author has created...but

It's starting to get old with this whole I'm an angry jerk to everyone. It's the second book and h tr main character hasn't emotionally developed. John looked like he was near the end of the first book but now he's back tracked... please move forward.

story skips alot

I loved this book. the story seems like it skips alot of plot points and battles. I feel like its rushed by not letting you know how stuff came to be but still was a story I couldn't put down.

Awsome

I can not wait till book 3 hits audio. I have been trying not to read it simply because of how much I loved the narration of the first two books!

Don't buy this

Decent story. Why do I have "Don't buy this"? Because you can get the first three books for a credit.
