Straightforward and well-written

This is a concise informative self-help book. For someone like me who doesn’t have the luxury of time listening to a very long audiobook, this is for you. I like that every chapter quickly gets to the point. I didn’t have to wait ages to get to the meat of the chapter.

Having written a book centred around productivity and saying no, the author obviously knows the importance of time management and so the book is edited to cut out all the fluff.

If you want a well-written, useful, and straightforward book about saying No then this is definitely it. The author did great work and the narrator’s performance is fantastic.

Great work!

I’ve listened to the book more than once.

I plan to listen to it again because it gets me to the core.

I admire the author’s way of writing, his descriptions, examples, and stories.

This is certainly a must-have for me, and for anybody sick and tired of being a people pleaser to the point it hurts.

Giving myself permission to say No to things that don’t interest me, and feeling more comfortable really committing to what adds value to my life is very fulfilling.

Worth the wait

For the past months, I’ve spent listening to books that I thought would address my issues about people-pleasing.
It took me three books until I discovered Saying No (Thank you). How I wish I found this sooner.

This is the book that spoke to my personality exactly. It resonated with my struggles mentally and physically. It freed me from the chains of living as a doormat and brought out my true self that I’ve been sharing with only those who were very close to me. It really did change my life. I’ll never need another self-help book to deal with this topic again. Now it’s just a question of applying everything I’ve learned!

A great book to empower you

I am in love with this book. It reminds me of a book I read some years ago, but this is definitely better. I thought I’d read most of the books on the subject this one takes it to a whole other level. What more can be said in the topic, right? But peak productivity managed to alchemy together and engaging text that I am recommending left, right and centre.

This book gave clarity and made me check my inner self and discover my true identity. I am the type of person who looks up to successful people and wonder how it will be like to be in their shoes.

After listening to this book, I gained new energy and a higher level of respect for myself. Listen to this book if you are feeling like you need to boost yourself up.

You will feel alive!

Covers many issues

I’ve been a people pleaser almost my entire life. As an introvert, I’m always concerned about what others may think when I turn them down. It’s really hard for me to say No, so when I do, I apologize much more than necessary. I have a habit of agreeing easily just to avoid confrontation or conflict. I wouldn’t have realized these things if it weren’t for this book.

Now I know that I need to change my ways for my life to have a better direction.

This book will help you conquer your fears and take control of your life. It will change your life!

What a blast

Before I purchase a book, I usually browse the reviews and comments to check if a particular book is what I’m really looking for.
I never wrote a review on anything, but I decided to leave a comment hoping that it would help someone the way it helped me.
I wholeheartedly believe this book transforms lives. It will teach, explain, and guide you through the process of finding your true self for you to realize what you need to do to fix your life. It’s definitely worth your time, money, and energy. If you’re looking for the best book on this topic, you should consider this.

Very thankful

This book is literally a life-saver. I wish I read this book 10 years ago! If you grew up in a toxic environment, this book is for you. For years, I struggled to find the answers to the social relation problems I was having. This book helps you open your eyes and reconsider the damaging thoughts you learned during childhood, and give you great advice to think positively toward other people. I sought help from counsellors and therapists and it didn’t give as big impact as what I received from this book. I am gradually healing and starting to connect with people better.

Helps you understand yourself

If you are someone who always likes to do someone a favor to please or not upset the person, says sorry too much (even when it’s not your fault), or just doesn’t feel that you are in charge of your own life, then I’d totally recommend this book. I’ve just finished listening to it, and I must say it hits all the highs and lows of people-pleasing and saying No. The book is filled with very valuable and informative information. In the end, you will feel that saying No to people and opportunities which are not in line with your goals is saying Yes to yourself. It’s something that is powerful to lead our lives on the right path.

Drives you to pursue your goals

This is the most helpful audiobook I’ve listened to this year.

The content is remarkably honest and direct.

The author put a great effort into researching the facts and gathered inspirational stories to put together this awesome book.
He clearly knows what he is talking about and he explains everything so well. I’m going to keep listening to this audiobook over and over until all of it really gets into my system.

This is the “push” that I needed to help me reach my goals and achieve success in the future.

I think everyone should have this book. Heck, this should be standard listening in schools.

Excellent audiobook on being more productive

I learned a lot from the information in it. Some of my favorite takeaways were that by not learning to say no, I am giving away my time and, therefore, my life. We cannot focus on life's essential things when we say yes to other people's concerns.

All in all, I give this audiobook five stars and will recommend it to my colleagues. Grab this audiobook if you want to take your productivity to the next level.
