About this listen

With Nevermore in full swing, the competition for the Leaderboards is only heating up...

Many years and even more levels have passed since Jake and friends entered Nevermore. With quite a number of floors passed, they turn their attention to the Challenge Dungeons.

These Challenge Dungeons offer – as the name suggests – unique challenges and circumstances, and completing them will earn each Nevermore competitor points and multipliers to their existing points. As things unfold, it quickly becomes clear it’s through these dungeons that the true top-scorer of the Nevermore Leaderboards will be found.

Jake has no plans on losing out to anyone, especially not his fellow Chosen, Ell’Hakan.

Follow Jake as he takes on these five dungeons, facing unique challenges, environments, scenarios, and opponents, with perhaps even a few truly worthwhile duels sprinkled in there.

Oh, and labyrinths. Can’t forget the labyrinths, lest we make Minaga sad.

Not really sure why it ended where it does. Seems like Nevermore could have just been one long book or maybe 2, but three books for one arc is getting dragged out. Even with that in mind, it's still a great listen!

Still going

SPOILERS!!!First I’d like to say the story and narration are on point as always. My only real gripe is that this is just a filler book and it doesn’t even finish all the challenge dungeons. I do understand that not every block can be filled with super hard hitting twists and turns meant to flip the world on its head. Overall the story was very well written, it was simply the content that made it feel easy to forget the book was playing at times.

Filler Arc

I can’t believe that the same general story has stayed fresh and entertaining for 11 books. Both the Author and the narrator make the listening experience both addictive and entertaining.

Book 11 and it’s still fresh

Overall this was a good book. For some reason I was not as invested in it as the others in the series. It felt like the challenge dungeons were novellas all out together. He’s growing but we don’t see any of that growth from one dungeon to the next. It seems like he’s more of an adrenaline junkie waiting on his next fix.

Good book, but maybe not as good as the others?

Honestly, the series is just a joy to listen to even if this one continues on with what appears to be a three book Interlude. The fun nature, storytelling, and additional depth of details adds to the overall storyline arc.

Just a great story

Still amazing as always the series never seem to disappoint, sure are there some slow points in any of the books ya but it never seems to stop and the character development either keeps improving or they stay the same charming self’s.

Never stop

I so enjoyed this newest epic adventure and looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another fantastic adventure

great book very thankful, most authors can't keep training dungeon arcs entertaining in lit RPG. I've quit reading three series because it just deviates from the origin of why I fell in love with the series. thankfully zogarth kept it going with Artemis, miyaga and knocked it out of the park with Jake's first student.
endless grinding and power-ups are pointless if the character isn't growing and interacting with meaningful characters.

thank God for great characters

Nobody and I mean nobody as far as I've heard is as good as Travis Baldree, Jeff Hayes is a close second.
He makes the characters infinitely more interesting and if you combine this with the dialogue and story you get a 10/10 book. Couldn't recommend it more.
