"Girl - this, this is war." After being reborn and becoming a magic wielding soldier in the Imperial Army, Tanya Degurechaff bemoans her fate of being placed at the very edge of the front lines instead of a comfy place in the rear. great but slightly disappointment

the new narrator isn't bad. but I'm trying to understand the change. Maybe last one didn't wanna do it? but if she was dropped for this one it is kinda disappointing. The original also being the original VA for the anime really brought this book alive. as stated the new one is good but I didn't bring that flare that the original had and also the original VA did every voice amazingly.

Great overall!

I loved the story almost as much as the first one. I am somewhat disappointed in the voice actress change because of how great the last one was, but the new person is still good.

excellent just as before

I will be honest, I have a good impression of the narrator, but until I finish this book I can't make a full evaluation. Initially, I was unpleasantly surprised to hear a different narrator from book one. Her talent is good, but the other was a better fit for the character description and was a familiar sound for anime fans. I can say this is where the terrifying progress of war action really picks up in the plot and Shiromi might just make me raise from four star to five by the end...

They changed the narrator!

The narrator did a good job, but she isn't Tanya! I am way too often disappointed that they changed the narrator.

Not the same, but still good narrator

I love youjo senki but monica rials voice fits the character so well, it's just not as engaging as the new narrator. I get she's probably busy doing other projects but having her voice the audiobooks is like getting an 8 hour new episode of the anime and it's great. Absolutely no offense to shiromi, I still loved the reading.

Military Tactics and terminology with Footnotes to help educate those who dont understand them

Its fluid transfer and focus on plot and perspectives of different areas of the battles going on while also having a small footnote towards the end of humorous details lol

really enjoy this series

Really enjoyed this book... the only problem I had was I wish the voice actress would have continued voicing her parts but besides that thumbs up 👍

Anime left a bit out

But got the story right. Different narrator, but she did ok. It was good to get more background and the thinking reminded me a bit of the Honor Harrington stories. Good grasp of the military.
