About this listen

Time is a cultivator’s greatest ally, until it isn’t…

Emerging from the deep wilds, Sen is now aware of the dangers of his body cultivation method. A method he doesn’t know how to progress. With time running out until his body turns against him, Sen travels to one of the only places he might find the manual that could save him. A place he never wanted to go. The capital.

Of course, the heart of the kingdom holds dangers of its own. Sen is inexorably drawn into the convoluted web of power that controls the vast city. He must navigate court politics, ambitious sects, and the unwanted attention of a criminal cultivator organization.

As he races toward a lethal showdown with cultivator and mortal powers alike, dangerous secrets will be revealed, Sen’s resolve will be tested, and the name Judgment’s Gale will finally be earned.

Honestly was growing tired of the MC always thinking he is right or making choices for others. How he decided the right way to live was.
Like how he hated the companion for being lazy and wanted him to work hard. I know it's a culture thing but just because he sees working hard as good and lazy as bad doesn't make it so.

What if the companion gained enlightenment through inaction and meditation or gluttony. Not his place to decide what's right or wrong for others if it doesnt hurt anyone. Only right for himself.

So was glad to see the MC , grow , make mistakes and reflect on when he was in the wrong and when he wasnt.

Like how MC grew

This book is good. It is something that will allow you to feel satisfied and unsatisfied all at the same time. I have been looking for good books, and none have kept my attention for long. They all seem to be drawn out trying to explain why something is happening or they will throw random people in the story to take up some writing space.
++++SPOILERS KIND OF++++
If you learn about new people on this one it gives you a good amount of knowledge without going overboard, then it is back to the main character. The main character is OP, but not SO OP that he doesn't have to be cautious. He kind of reminds me of Ryun from the infinite realm (Amazing Series btw). He didn't fall for the new girl even though he cared for her. I actually loved how that narrative changed. Thank God! Anyways I am not going to say more, just listen/read the book. Eric you have a spectacular mind. Thanks for letting us into your imagination for a while. :)
Narrator is perfect. You actually enter into the Eric's imagination because of the narration. (System Universe) is where I first heard your narration. great stuff my guy.

A++ Any less is a lie

I did not like how it was fluffed up and it was like a giant run on sentence

Good but not great

The quick review: Another excellent installment of a very enjoyable and approachable Xiancia/Cultivation genre series.

This is freshly released and it's been a while so I re-read the last book which brought back not only the storyline but also how very enjoyably Eric spins the yarn.
There is a downside to this book though, the sad-ish ending is only a fraction of the gloom brought on by the realization that it's going to be a tough wait until the next book!
Eric is a seriously gifted writer and it's always no fun when reaching the end of any books in this series because being immersed in the story is such a great time. Can't wait for more.
Also, a deep bow to the narration - very well done as always.

Excellent continuation of a must read series!

There is really good life lessons in this audio book. I wonder if there are people out there that will contemplate how they think and respond to every day experiences. I know the author did for me.

Love it

The character development of the MC was great, and figuring out who he is and wants to be, with some mystery to unravel in the next book, was enjoyable. Would have liked to see more development of Falling Leaf as well, instead of being a companion with some speaking parts. I do love a bit of humbling of the sects, which this had. At any rate, it was a good book.

I wish the narrator had more voices. Every woman sounds like she’s whining, and men sound generally the same.

A good continuation

As the story advancesI find the series drawing me into the storyline. I find the world and the characters in it very intriguing. The only issue I have with this series is that the books do not come out as often as I would like.

Another excellent book in this series
