Great Great Book.

I highly recommend for walking. This book is great for beginning to walk and after you're walking. This is an awesome book.

Ultimate book

Where does Walking: Weight Loss Motivation rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I am convinced that this is the ultimate book that will lead me to a fit and active lifestyle that I have always wanted! There is no magic formula in this book, just solid advice based on common sense. This book is just so perfect for anyone who wants to stay fit and healthy and to lose weight at the same time in the most sensible way possible. I really like that it’s all-encompassing, so there’s no reason not to get this book and get moving now!

A fun way to lose weight and get healthy

This book is a great primer for someone who is new to walking. The assistance in selecting the right equipment as well as the basics of how to get started were helpful. The suggestions of how to incrementally improve strength – like using weights – were good. No doubt, walking is a healthy activity as the book suggests. My one (tiny) issue is the book talks a lot about music but doesn’t suggest listening to audiobooks. A minor point but as an audiobook addict listening to an audiobook, it did feel like missed opportunity. There is also some repetition, but you get used to that.

The narrator, Gene Blake, was pleasant to listen to. Sometimes I am surprised by the selection of narrator given the apparent gender of the narrator but that’s on me. The narrator did a great job.

Simple but comprehensive

Despite being a fairly short book, ‘Walking’ is comprehensive in what it covers. It gives beginner, intermediate and expert levels, advice for getting and obtaining motivation and will power, details on the medical benefits, common misconceptions, how walking is only part of the weight loss picture, and much more. There is an abundance of information here, but the book never gets bogged down or feels dry. It is well written and informative. The book will help you to get going, and keep going.

Narration by Gene Blake is good. He has a kind of ‘knowledgeable granddad’ kind of sound to him. It makes it easy to listen and to take the advice from him. He is well paced, clear and enjoyable to listen to.

If you are serious to lose weight, get this!

What did you love best about Walking: Weight Loss Motivation?

You will learn that walking will help you achieve your weight loss goals and the author does an excellent job of explaining how walking and portion control can be used to help to lose weight. The numbers on the scale will come down but not overnight, you will lose weight and keep it off by utilizing the information provided in this book. I recommend this book for anyone who is serious about losing weight and keeping it off.

Simple directions

Would you listen to Walking: Weight Loss Motivation again? Why?

The workouts include beginner, intermediate and advance. These are easy routines to follow for anyone who doesn’t want to spend lots of money in gym memberships, and it works. All you have to do is follow the simple directions of this book and get moving. I walk myself for exercise a few days a week and I have benefit of the information included in this guide.

What you can learn through this audio.

I liked this book. This audio teaches you evrrything you would every want to know about walking. It also teaches you.
1. what shoes to buy
2. what foods to eat just before a walk.
3. How to stretch before and after a walk.
4. What type of exercises to do to keep a tight stomach.
5. What type of clothes to wear.
6. How much water you should drink in a day.
This is the stuff I learned from this audio

For optimal health

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a quick and easy read with solid tips and recommendations on how to follow a walking plan to lose weight and feel great. I like that it provides a common sense approach, and encourages you to set up an easy to monitor walking program. It is a well though out step by step method for obtaining optimal health by walking and I like that it also tells you exactly how walking and fitness will drastically improve your body and mind.

Waste is time

This book was terrible. Read like a high school persuasive essay except the author continuously gave conflicting advice. Do not waste your time or credits!
