Thank You Audible! This is Amazing!

Absolutely loving these programs and exercise classes. The trainers are excellent. The music is great. I love all the books on Audible, but this is such a useful benefit. I am going to take every one of these. Thank you Audible!

Highly motivating and good progression

Highly motivating and good progression for running beginners. Makes me want to run which is not an easy thing to do! The coach is energetic and enthusiastic and it feels like she's right there with you on the road or treadmill!

Encouraging and Helpful.

Worked for me. Ran first two miles of a 5K after following Jaime’s program — I did intervals of recovery walks and jogging to complete the course. Very encouraging. Her focus on being happy and relaxed while using proper form was so helpful.
Very clear voice easily heard over music. Very worthwhile.

Great motivation for runners who want to improve.

Love the trainer, super positive and does a great job mixing things up both outdoors on on the treadmill.

I'm running again.

1 st let me state that I weighed 260 lbs when I started these tapes. I was out of breath walking two flights of stairs. After 6 weeks I'm down 22 pounds. I am doing each segment until I can either double the tape or increase my speed significantly. Jaime really keeps me motivated. Im now doing 65 minutes on the treadmill. I know I will be running miles in no time.

Not bad; not great

I grabbed this title because i was going COVID stir crazy and more sedentary that i wanted to be. I’m in my mid 50s and not in great shape, but I felt myself declining even further due to COVID closures, etc. This looked like a good way for me to get things back in gear and start moving again...and as it is said to take 21 iterations to form a habit, the number of lessons was almost perfect.

POSITIVES: (1) I like the muscle confusion approach with allowed for a balanced approach to things and kept me from over-indexing on just one part of the workout. (2) The iterations were reasonable and allowed me to advance without killing myself. When things began to ramp beyond my immediate ability, I repeated lessons and iterations until my capability caught up. (3). The program is mostly equipment-less. Only a treadmill is needed (and if you don’t have one [like i don’t] you can convert the treadmill workout to outdoor ones relatively easily). (4) Just because it was mentioned in other reviews I wanna comment that I had no issues re: the soundtrack and the narration with the exception of a few specific (and short) instances. Volumes were fine throughout. Note that I used both AirPods Pro’s and Trekz Titanium Aftershocks through my iPhone for sound.

NEGATIVES: (1) The narrator was often not clear when exercises were to start as transitions occurred. Was she describing the event and encouraging or telling me to get moving? Hard to tell. (2) There were places where her descriptions assumed certain knowledge. I’ve never done yoga, so telling me to get into a child’s pose wasn’t very helpful. (3) The stretching chapters felt rushed and ineffective. The narrator did not describe the stretches well or where we should feel the stretches...and by the time understanding was achieved, we were moving to the next stretch. This, by far, is my biggest negative; given my age, good stretching is key to me staying active. In the end I had to go to another program to ensure that my stretching days were effective.

RESULTS/CONCLUSIONS: I did, indeed run a mile and am back in the habit of working out daily so in that respect I got out of the program what I wanted. if you understand the limitations above and compensate for them accordingly, it’s a great way to get moving again and (re)start health habits

Sedentary Beginner Satisfied

I really don't run much at all. I'm sedentary, I can't run very far, and I always struggle to get more than 2,000 steps. This is a very helpful for me. Upbeat music and encouragement keep me going.

Best Fitness Coach EVER!!!

I wanna say a HUGE thank-you to coach Jamie for making me actually ENJOY jogging/running! She sounds so friendly and encouraging that it feels like she's my actual friend haha I LOVE HER!

I have a weak heart and had struggled with cardio workouts since I was little, but it worsened as a I grew older and landed office jobs that made me sedentary. I never would have imagined running (or for me, jogging lol) a mile in my life, but I FREAKIN DID IT AT THE END OF THIS PROGRAM! How was that possible lol it's all thanks to Coach Jamie. I'll forever keep this and repeat the program as much as I can ♡

She got me up and running

I was just going to listen to see how the audio sounds. Before I knew it I was following her instructions and started to train on the treadmill. It is like having your own personal trainer. I am enjoying this audio training guide.
