About this listen

The bestselling fitness book for women who want to lose up to 35 pounds of fat or more and gain whole-body muscle definition in just 3-5 hours per week—and without giving up delicious foods or doing grueling workouts.

Is Thinner Leaner Stronger a body building book that can give you a toned “Hollywood babe body” in 30 days flat?

No.

Is it a weight loss book for women full of diet and exercise “hacks” for gaining lean muscle and melting belly fat faster than a sneeze in a cyclone?

Absolutely not.

But is it a science-based weight training book (and nutrition book) that’ll demystify muscle building and fat loss and show you exactly how to get a lean, strong, and fit physique without spending hours in the gym every day?

And while still enjoying your favorite foods, like hamburgers, pizza, and ice cream?

Yes.

And you’ll see visible results in the mirror and gym in your first month on the program.

Because here’s the deal:

Muscle building and fat loss aren’t nearly as complicated as you’ve been led to believe.

You don't need to: Obsess over "clean eating" and avoiding “unhealthy” foods like sugar, meat, and bread. Some foods are more nutritious and should be eaten more frequently than others. That's it.

You don't need to: Grind through hours of punishing strength training workouts every week. Sweating buckets, getting really sore, training until bone-tired . . . all wholly overrated for gaining muscle and strength.

You don't need to: Slog away on the treadmill. In fact, you don't need to do any cardio exercise at all to shed belly, hip, and thigh fat.

Those are just a few of the harmful fitness lies and myths that keep women weak, overweight, and confused.

And Thinner Leaner Stronger will teach you something that most of those women will never know:

How to cut through all the confusion and clutter and create clear, structured, no-nonsense diet and training plans tailored to your fitness goals, circumstances, and preferences.

Here are just a few of the things you’ll discover inside this health book for women:

● The 10 biggest fitness myths and mistakes that keep women from achieving the body they really want. For example, “only calories matter,” “carbs and sugars make you fat,” and “strength training makes you bulky.”

● The primary driver of muscle growth that forces your muscles to get fitter and stronger. And no, it has nothing to do with “muscle confusion,” “functional training,” or any other pseudoscientific fitness nonsense.

● How to create meal plans for building muscle and losing fat with foods you love so you never feel starved, deprived, or like you're "on a diet" (and especially a “bodybuilding diet”).

12 months of workouts for women created by the author to show you how to use principles and methods taught in the book to get tight legs and glutes, sculpted arms and back muscles, and a flat stomach.

● A no-BS guide to fitness supplements that’ll save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars on useless (and sometimes even dangerous) pills, powders, and potions.

And that’s not all, either . . .

Thinner Leaner Stronger is one of the most popular women's strength training books of all time, with over 500,000 copies sold in 13 languages, and it has helped tens of thousands of women of all ages and abilities transform their body composition, fitness, and health.

367 peer-reviewed scientific studies support the Thinner Leaner Stronger system of eating, training, and recovering for losing fat and building muscle and strength.

Thinner Leaner Stronger is regularly revised based on the latest findings in nutrition, exercise, and supplementation research, with the latest version (fourth edition) released in 2023.

Here’s the bottom line:

You can get that head-turning “beach-ready body” without following weird, extreme, or complicated diet, exercise, or supplementation methods or strategies.

And this women's weight lifting book shows you how.

So, get your copy now, and start your journey to a fitter, leaner, and stronger you.

Eliminates the religious dietary myths

Puts the focus on daily intake of nutrition vs the myth of specified diets. The human body has the ability to be flexible with its nutrition. The book eliminates the unnecessary rules of diets and puts the focus on total consumption per day.

The voice kills me

I don't blame the author for using a voice application to make the audio book, but I cannot give him full marks for the narration either.

Ok & way too long

It's a decent book. His voice is almost painful to listen to. I had to speed it up and it still is slow af. He takes forever to get to the meat of the book...about 17 chapters in. I do not like the fact he keeps directing you onto the website & sales pitch...I bought the book to get this information. 10 years experience, with no background in exercise science or kinesiology raises a red flag for me. When you finally get through the bs it's interesting. I haven't finished the entire book but 90% of what he says is what we all know already and hard to do...commit to diet & exercise.

So much precise info

This is exactly what I was looking for in addition to my lifestyle changes. I think I may also be looking into their coaching services.

Great and thorough view on fitness

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to anyone whether you are Fit or looking to lose weight or to get fit. This book is very inspirational and detailed and what is the most important it is very realistic as it doesn't suggest any drastic or science fiction methods but makes you rethink about the way you live eat and exercise

What other book might you compare Thinner Leaner Stronger to and why?

none of that I know

Any additional comments?

what is the most important is that you can have a dialogue with an author. You can send him an email and he will respond to you much faster than you think. So it's not just the one way teaching book its a two way conversation that will lead you to the success you are looking for

Great workout Book

I have listened to the audible version twice, and have read through the kindle version as well. Everything sounds logical. And encouraging.

I work in the fitness industry as well. Not weight lifting. I have danced my whole life, as well as other athletic activities. However, I know that what I do for myself pales in comparison to my weight lifting friends that go to the gym regularly. But, I have resolved to lose fat and gain muscle, and increase cardio endurance. My physique has been there before, and even though I am now in the post menopausal population of females, I am pumped by what I hear from fellow gym rats and what I have read in these books. I've already started making changes in what I eat, have increased my activity, etc. I am almost ready to start the one year challenge for women.

My challenge is that I have to alter the exercises somewhat to fit a home program. The nearest gym is 65 miles away. If it were closer, I'd be there every day. It can be done.

I will make a point of commenting further down the road and report on my progress.

2019 Update is significant and well worth it!

I have been using Thinner Leaner Stronger workouts for 4 years and was both curious and skeptical about this updated version. I am impressed with the improved writing style, as well as updated and more thorough content. This version addresses earlier concerns about cut-and-paste from the men's book. I found the bonus material easy to access following the author's instructions.
My main critique of the book is my disappointment in Mike's reading of it. I expected a smoother, more conversational style, similar to his podcast delivery. This reading is a bit choppy or stilted. Out of hundreds of audiobooks I have listened to, this is the only one so far where I had to speed up the narration.
Aside from that, I am glad I took time to listen to the new book and I look forward to applying the different workout splits.

Great book but the PDF Download is WRONG!!!

I don't know if it's from an older version or what, but the download through audible has WILDLY different workouts than the ones in the TLS download from Mike's website (http://www.thinnerleanerstronger.com/bonus/?fbclid=IwAR3HEYlHK1PaPXFLuGu8_7ihxZKZ5SDSD9OZIbhDnIWVfOBoQei0MYlR8h4)

Beyond that - this is a fantastic beginners guide that can absolutely help you learn the basics and start a new weight lifting routine that will give you better results than most traditional advice out there for women. Don't be afraid to lift ladies!!!

Very informative.

Great book and provided some really useful information. However I am so disappointed that the link to the Bonus Report does not seem to work.
