After reading a few books on sexual health and sexual relationships- I can firmly say that this is the most productive, science backed, tangible, interesting, and helpful book I’ve found on improving your sex life, healing sexual pain and trauma, and the science behind sexual mindfulness for healing.

Lots of info shared in very clinical way and occasionally as such sounds like a commercial for a female sex replacement therapy, more likely bc of the narrators tone than the subject matter.
And I think that’s a wonderful way to present an otherwise controversial topic; clean and of anatomy, understanding and makes it very accessible z

As a husband and former former DBT counselor I have wanted to better understand the interplay between social and interpersonal norms that encourage women to disassociate with their bodies and the subsequent rewiring that exacerbates the lak of desire to be touched. The excellent Mindfulness training aside, This book provides information necessary for women's sexual mental health.
