Trash continuation the First book was so much better why is 90% of book a god damn internal monologue

Stop the internal monologue of the main character. It is super annoying I would rather hear 40 points of view then hear this guy cry in is mind for 20 chapters straight

it does seem a little bogged down

however, it should significantly improve in the next book, I read story on RR and was curious as to how he was going to break it up for books. still pretty good!

good yet dragged out

for some reason I believe it is the author's point of the entire series. initiation at its finest

tbh not the best but better than the reviews say

Compared to the first it filled a lot of the back story and made more world building efforts. Now if the next book in the series does the same thing I'll be upset, but so far it wasn't bad. There was some moments that felt drawn out, but it seemed to be pointing out character growth.

Good sequel

This book goes the path of a lot of progression fantasy and slows down a little bit to consolidate gains and flesh out the universe more there’s more character development, scope and motivation overall definitely worth the read

Almost all completely internal monologue

Good performance by the reader, however the story did not progress one bit. It drags along unnecessary. nothing relevant to the story or character development just repetitive feelings or ponderings by the main character. What caused this shift author?! the first book was fantastic.
